Alexis' pov
"Levin I....I'm just not ready, even if I do return the feelings, I'm not ready to go from best friends to anything more I'm sorry"

I don't know how I feel about Lev, I've never really given it much thought.

"Thats fine" he shrugged "but I won't give up Lex"

I blinked in surprise. He won't give up?

"Anyways its early you need sleep goodnight"

"Goodnight"

"Oh and Lex?"

"Yeah?"

"You look beautiful"

I felt my face heat up. Well this won't be easy to get used to.

"Th-thanks Levin"

He smiled and crawled out from under the stairs. I watched him leave and was left in my thoughts.

The next day

I woke up this time after the sun. I ran to my CD player and listened to the songs on the CD.(one is at the top) As I was listening to the songs my cell phone rang with Levins ringtone. I answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey you awake?"

"No this is a voicemail yes Levin I'm awake"

"Well good morning and Happy seventeenth birthday"

"Thank you and good morning to you"

"Hey are you listening to Kiss Me?"

"Yes why?"

"Oh I was just wondering. That one is my newest"

"It's really good"

"Thanks so I was wondering if you were busy this Friday night"

"It depends why?"

"I wanted to take you out"

"Like on a date?"

"Yup" I could practically feel his grin

"Where?"

"That M'lady will not be told unless you say yes"

"I don't know what I'm doing I think my family is giving Brian his birthday present and celebrating with him"

"It's his birthday this Friday?"

"Yeah..."

"Ok some other time then"

"I don't get you Levin, most guys would be crushed but you, you're different"

"I hope that's a good thing"

"Maybe"

"Well if it is then good but I gotta go goodbye beautiful"

"Bye Levin"

I hung up and took a deep breath.

Levins pov
I hung up and whistled as I went down the stairs.

"Good morning Levin"

"Morning mom"

I sat at the table and dad was actually there this time. All week he had to help the newest guard and he always got up early and left early. It's nice to have him at the table.
