"A letter always seemed to me like immortality because it is the mind alone without corporeal friend."
― Emily Dickinson
Dear
To be honest I had no clue on how to start this letter. I have never really needed to write one, but I think it is very different, yet calming somehow. There are so many questions I want to ask, but I don't know where to begin or end this. So instead I will answer all the questions you have asked me. I hope you don't mind that.
You had asked if I like coffee, ell I do really enjoy it. And my favorite is French Vanilla. No, I don't just survive on salads, I eat other things like ice cream, pizza, hamburgers, and well food. Also I think its amazing that you enjoy writing, especially to me. I find the ending of December quite enjoyable. I don't know if I could handle Christmas songs for any longer. And your last question. "What is my favorite color?" It would have to be shades of blue.
I really want to thank you for the bracelet. How did you know I like dragon flies? I would like to give you something in return, and please don't refuse it. And one last thing I showed my friend Jessica the pictures you sent me.
Pretty Potato
I put down the pen, and stretched my aching arms. Took longer then I had thought. I turned around and saw Jessica was sleeping. I laughed and grabbed my camera. I placed an unused card in before I turned it on. I took a quick shot of her, before moving on to the photo album holding his cards. I opened it up and took a picture of it. For a good 10 minutes I took pictures of all my favorite things. And then finally a pic If myself wearing the bracelet. pulling out the card I placed it back into its container and put it into an envelope. I placed the letter inside before Writing Friend on it in big letters. I doodled on it as well, before tucking it away in my backpack.
I sat next to Jessy before waking her up, "Hey...hello!" I called while shaking her shoulder. "mmm....what?" She asked yawning. "You fell asleep, so I decided to wake you up." I said, standing up and heading towards my door. "Where you going?" She asked rolling over onto her stomach. "Im hungry, so to the fridge." I answered. "Oh bring me something too." She called after me. "Got it!" I shouted back, before grabbing a plate.

"Jessy lets go get some coffee." I said while we left school. "But I hate coffee." She whined, still following me. "Then don't get any." I said while taking out my wallet. "Oh thank Coffee Gods I have enough money." I said aloud with a sigh. I stepped into a local owned Café before heading up to the counter. "How can I help you today?" A young guy about my age asked. I couldn't help but smile. He was tall, had messy died red hair, and an amazing smile. "One French Vanilla coffee, strong please." I said before going to sit down. Jessica ordered a honey bun, before taking a seat.
"Ah." I said pretty loud. A few heads turned towards our table, and I sunk into my chair. I gave everyone an apologetic smile, before looking back at Jessica. "What was that about?" She asked while eyeing me. "I feel like I just betrayed him. I thought that waiter was cute. Oh My God. What have I done." I said while tugging at my bracelet. "Betrayed who?" She asked resting her head in her hand. "The guy who gives me the letters." I whispered, because the waiter was coming. "Anything else for you ladies?" He asked placing our orders in front of us. "No thank you." I answered before taking a sip of my coffee. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the taste and warmth it brought me.
"I don't thing your betraying the guy, I mean did every once say he like you." She said. I shook my head no. "Then see you have the right to flirt with any guy you want. "I couldn't. He just seems so..."Prince charming like." She added, taking a bite of her bun. "That is not what I was going to say! Besides when does Prince Charming ever write a letter to his princess?" I asked her. She shrugged and started to laugh. "Then tell me, what were you going to say." She shot back while leaning forward. " I was going to say he seems so so...Sorry to interrupt but your friend said to give this a try." He said placing a cup in front of Jessica. I read his name tag "Mark". I shrugged my shoulders at her, as she looked at me. "It is a Mocha Latte with shaved ice." Mar added before walking away. "Weird." She said, before taking a sip. "Im gona need another one of these." She rushed out.
"I wonder who sent that?" I asked as we were finishing up our drinks. "Don't know just happy he, she did." Jessica said. "Maybe a secret admire." I teased. I stood up, and went to the counter. I opened my wallet just as Mark said "Oh your friend already paid for your drinks." I looked up at him with wide eyes. "Um did you happen to get his name?" I asked filling with hope. "No sorry." He said. "Well if you see him again tell him I said thank you." I added before turning to the exit. "I spun around and said, "Thanks and have a nice day." He waved at me, before heading to the coffee machine. "Wow who ever it was is really nice." Jessica stated. "Yeah." I sighed. I could only think of one person who might do that.

I had just placed the letter in my mail box, when I chickened out, and pulled it out. "Okay you can do this." I said aloud. taking a deep breath I opened it up again and placed the letter inside. I turned around and ran inside. "Please please get my letter." I begged before getting changed and heading over to Jessica's
