Caleb's Pov

Heading away towards the main Pack mansion, where everyone in the main family stay and reside, I smiled at the idea that I have some sort of ability to somehow help the wolves in the coming storm that will come over us in one of these days. 

Dragging Darren with me towards the great library, the long hallway, sun shining through he windows, making a clear vision of what i wanna do, say, and contribute for this pack, the pack that embraced me as a pack member, that at first was new and an enemy of sorts, I did kidnap Courtney, which of whom turns out to be my rune, and as long as im alive, She and this pack will never be harmed. That's a sworn oath.

"Darren you need to move your ass faster, Otherwise we will not catch the other alpha's in their vacant hours.." I stated, Darren just sighed and quickened his pace. I can also feel him rolling his eyes at me from the back of my head. I smirked and turned around, facing him with a mischievous glint in my eyes, which i know he knows and sees with his own innocent looking orbs.

"Ummm.." He started uncomfortably, His body language seeing as that squirming a bit under my gaze. Who knew an alpha can get uncomfortable holding the gaze of his own mate, aawe thats cute. "Is there somthing.. umm im my face?"

"Cute .. but no.. " I chuckled and He groaned.

Pushing open the doors to the great library, the scent of old book and wood greeted my senses, taking my hand off of Darren's warm hand, I moved towards the middle part of the library where a little Circle is built, about a ruler below the main floor, it depressed within the floor, leaving a space under it, Where there is a C-shaped couch on both sides, which fitted perfectly with the circle geometry of the space in the middle. Their big enough to fit five person reading. two pairs of single seater couches with a glass table on the middle of each pair for book or anything on it. 

"Wow.. " I exclaimed, the scent of Ashton, slowly seeping through the wood and the old book scent. This is my first time seeing a library this big, I smiled and spun around slowly, mesmerized with the tall shelves and loads and loads of books in them, a bookworm's paradise i can see.

'Havent seen a library before huh?.." Darren's amused voice rang through my ears. I rolled my eyes and was about to reply a more amusing reply but...

"Well.. i can assume you two need some help reading or finding a book, or need something from me.. " a powerful calm voice resonated from the corner of the shelves in front of me, I yelped a bit and Darren chuckled, I glared at him and that made him stop, I tilted my head and watched as Ashton emerged from the shelves and into my clear line of vision. "Darren.. "He faced Darren and bowed a bit, his head moving for a small bow. He faced me after a few seconds and called my name out.. "Caleb" .. and with the same action he bowed a bit as if acknowledging our presence. "What brings you here at this time of the day.. shouldn't you be in the patrols Darren?" He asked.
