chapter 9: it's time

I parked the car and walked up to the doors. I took a deep breath and grabbed my stomach. I walked through the door. I went to the little window where you tell the your name and chart number and stuff. "Okay is the father ... Uh paulu- " I cut her off
"He will not be apart of his life." She slightly nodded and started typing. I walked to the waiting room and sat down. I felt a pair of hands on my shoulders. "I took off work. Don't tell Jo. " I laughed as lizz sat beside me. She grabbed my hand. I'm so glad she could be here. I don't know if I could've done this on my own. The nurse walked to us and gave me a gown. "Whenever we get to your room you'll need to change into this . may I ask ... Is this your....?" I laughed . "no its my sister , the father isn't in the picture. " she gave lizz a smock and hair net. "Sorry. Its just yanno. Sorry let's get you to that room. " lizz smiled at me. "Yanno I remember when Jo went into labor with haiylee and how you brought her some burger king and a coffee from Starbucks." I started to laugh really hard and "my water just broke!" I yelled. Their was a water like stuff all over me and the floor. "Okay let's set you Down. " she grabbed a wheel chair and started to push me to an elevator lizz was a little behind us. Once we got in the elevator she held my hand. "It's gonna be okay. Tay listen to me. Breathe just breathe." I had a contraction right after she said that. " what the hell do you think I'm doing." I started to squeeze the side of the wheel chair. The nurse bent down in front of me and pulled up my dress and said "we need to get you to a room now." She called someone on her cell phone. "We can't wait to get to the 15th floor Jaye I can see the head!" She stopped the elevator at 12th and got out. And screamed "we have a woman in labor we need a room." She pushed me down the hall way and all the sudden there were 5 or 6 more nurses and doctors Jaye. "Okay Mrs. Jord-." I cut him off "its Espinosa. Mallory Espinosa." I clutched the side of the wheel chair as they shut the door to the room. "Tell Jo to get mason and haiylee here. Before Austin is born. I don't care if she gets mad at you." She grabbed her phone ."but..." I stopped her. "No buts Julie. Call her nOW!!! OW OH THAT OWWW SHIT. WHAT THE HELL." They told my underwear off and my dress and put me in a gown . "Jo get up here now. Taylors going into labor. She wants mason here." She hung up and grabbed my hand. "She's 7 centimeters dialated. Get the baby's heart monitor on her now!!!" All the sudden they stuck an iv in my hand and strabbed the monitor to my stomach. "Thump thump. Thump thump. " okay time to have a baby. "9 centimeters!" I had another contraction they started giving me all the shots down there. And got me ready to have Austin. "Okay miss Espinosa whenever I say push count with me and hold it to ten and give it all you got okay? " I huffed "okay." I grabbed the side of the bed ready to push . "okay miss espinsoa push. 1.......2........3......4.......5.......6.........7......8.....9......10." I stopped and took a deep breath I squeezed the life out of Lizzie's hand. "Come on tay you got this." I took a deep long breath. "Okay ready push. 1...........2......3.......4.....5...,6.......7...8.....9.....,10." I screamed and cried. This head was almost out and I had another contraction and then they let me know that they had cut me to make me big enough for Austin to slip out. "Okay ready push! 1.......2.......3....4..5...6..7.....8..9......10." . I screamed and pushed one last time. And then I heard him cry.. They layed him on my chest and I just sat and cried. The stitched me up and cleaned me of they let me put my legs down and put a blanket on me . mason walked in the door. And sat on my bed and I saw tears role down his face. He slurred his words. " ima big brudder" this is probably the vest day of my life.
