Freya ignored the scuffle between Sam and Dean as they fought each other in the dark room, and continued walking to where she thought was the kitchen.
Once Freya reached the fridge, she welcomed herself to a beer before walking back to her boys.
"Dean what the hell are you doing here?" Sam asked Dean exasperatedly.
"Well I was looking for a beer," Dean smirked, and watched as Freya walked into the room with said drink in her hand.
Dean made a hand motion as if to tell her to hand it over, but she simply slapped away his attempts to take the beverage away from her.
"Freya?" Sam asked, more surprised than he was with Dean. Sam figured that after what happened she wouldn't be able to be around Dean without having those memories come up.
"Sam?" A beautiful blonde girl came out of a bedroom, switching the light on.
Freya and Dean both raised their eyebrows, considering the girl was barely clothed with skimpy shorts and a smurfs crop top.
"Hey, Jess." Sam sighed heavily, before looking back to Dean and Freya. "Dean, Freya, this is my girlfriend, Jessica."
"Wait, your brother Dean and his girlfriend Freya?" Jessica asked, surprised.
Dean and Freya both narrowed their eyes at Sam.
"We're not a couple." They said simultaneously, almost as if they've said it a million times before.
"I love the smurfs." Dean smirked, trying his best to carry on a conversation with the blonde. "You know, I got to tell you. You are completely out of my brothers league."
"Just, let me put something on." Jessica said, resisting the urge to roll her eyes at Dean's attempts of flirtation.
"No, no, no. I wouldn't dream of it." Dean paused, "seriously."
This time Jessica didn't bother resisting it and rolled her eyes, nodding at the slightly apologetic look from Freya on behalf of Dean.
Freya was used to Dean flirting with other girls, as was Dean used to Freya flirting with other guys. That's just how they were. They could do anything with anybody, but at the end of the day those people didn't matter. Because they were Freya and Dean. And that was more than enough.
"Anyway, I gotta borrow your boyfriend here. Talk about some private family business." Dean smirked, walking back over to Freya's side.
"It was nice meeting you." Freya smiled sincerely before rolling her eyes at Dean's half attempt of an apology by swinging his arm over her shoulder.
"No. No, whatever you want to say, you can say it in front of her." Sam demanded softly, walking over to Jess and complying Dean's actions by swinging his arm over her shoulder.
"Okay. Um." Dean paused, not quite sure where to go from there. Quite frankly Dean was expecting Sam to walk out of the small apartment with him willingly.
"John hasn't been home in a few days." Freya stated vaguely. Now that her hands were free, seeing as Dean stole away her beer, she crossed her arms over her chest.
"So he's working overtime on his "Miller-time shift." Sam brushed it off like nothing, clearly not getting the hint. "He'll stumble back in sooner or later."
"Dad's on a hunting trip. And he hasn't been home in a few days." Dean clarified, keeping his eyes locked on Sam's.
The realization spread over Sam's face quickly after that last sentence, and there were no other words needed to convince him to step outside with the undefined couple that stood before him.
"Jess, excuse us." Sam said gravely, not bothering to look at her, before following Dean and Freya outside.
