DAZYA'S P.O.V
CHANGEKNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!
I opened my eyes. Someone was knocking at my door. I sat up and pulled on my robe. I walked over to the door and opened it. Maria was standing in the doorway.
"Maria?"
"Hey.."
"Hey.."
"Mind if I come in?"
"No problem, come in.." She smiled and walked in. I shut the door and turned on the light. I went and sat on my bed and she stood and leaned against the wall.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Well, I heard you went out back to S.T.A.C.K... everyone is talking about it.."
"Word spreads fast around here doesn't it?" Maria smiled.
"Yeah," she looked up at me, "That took some serious guts to do that.."
"Well.. I guess you could say that... I mean Thomas was along with me so.."
"Yeah, I heard you guys were an item now.."
"Word does spread fast!" She smiled.
"Dazya, I just want to apologize for the way I treated you when you first got here... it was just stupid and I'm sorry... I guess I was kinda jealous.."
"Of who? Me? For what?!?"
"Well.. no, it's stupid.."
"C'mon Maria! Tell me!" she looked at me.
"Well your such a pretty girl.. I thought you maybe would of stole.. Calvin from me.." I busted out laughing.
"Are you kidding! No way! Were just too close!"
"I know its stupid," she smiled, "It's just when you got here and he realized who you were, he just never stopped talking about you and.. I don't know.." I smiled.
"I would never take Calvin from you Maria, your a good friend!" she looked at me and smiled and looked down. Her smile began to fade. I looked at her closely. She had long light brown hair pulled into a ponytail and defined eyebrows. She had very pretty eyes, but you could hardly tell because she wore glasses. If actually took the time to look at Maria, she was a really pretty girl! She just seemed to hide it a lot under all the suits and uniforms..
"Hey Maria?"
"Yeah?"
"Does Calvin know how you feel?" She came over and sat at the edge of my bed.
"Well no, but I thought he would of picked it up by now..
"Guys are slow Maria! Tip for life.." we both giggled.
"Sometimes I wonder if he even notices me.."
"In that suit," Maria looked down at her clothes, "Not even a shark would glance your way.."
"I get it.. I guess I don't really have any "girly" attire.." I smiled.
"That's where I come in!" I jumped up and ran to my closet.
"What?" Maria got up and followed me.
"Maria," I opened my closet and pulled out two dresses, "Welcome to Viva la Dazya!" Maria smiled.
"You don't have to do this-"
"Gotta! Your getting a total make over Calvin can't resist!" Maria smiled.
"Thanks Dazya.." I began digging through my closet.
"No problem!" Maria looked down then back at me.
"I know what I said before and I just want to say.. I do.."
"As in I do want to marry you?"
"NO!"
"I do what then?"
"Respect you.. more than just a person in a facility," I turned and looked at her, "But as a friend.." I smiled and walked over and sat next to her.
"Now what happened to that "I'll never respect you!" speech?" she looked at me and smiled.
"A thing of a past.." I smiled. She leaned in and hugged me. I smiled and hugged her. I got up and went to my closet.
"Now," I said, "Time to make you hot hot HOT!" Maria smiled.
