Chapter 3

I walk out of the bathroom and walk back to the table. The gang looks at me with pity. I scowl at them.

"So anyways, Tris... Wanna go out tonight?" Chris asks.

"Yeah sure..." I say while smiling a bit.

"Okay, I'll come over your house to dress you up..." She says.

I would usually groan. But I found out that she's my best friend and I'm supposed to be there for here... I nod.

After I eat my food, I walk out of the cafeteria without waiting for my friends. I walk over to my locker and put in some books. Then someone puts their Han on my shoulder. I turn around to see Four.

"Tris, I'm sorry Tris..." He says.

"Its alright, you didn't know..." I say forcing a smile.

He nods and smiles back." What subject do you have later?" He asks.

"Um.... Music," I say.

"I have it too... Want to walk together?"

I nod.

"Do you sing?" He asks.

"Kinda... But not in front of people..." I say blushing.

"Well I'm gonna hear your voice eventually..." He says.

I shrug." Tobias what are you going to do?"

He remains silent.

"Tobias!!!" I whisper/yell. He smirks.

I start to get scared as we walk to class. We take a sit next to each other.

"Okay class, we will be singing today..." Our music teacher Ms.Wu says. I swear I saw Tobias smirk.

"So who would like to sing first?" She asks. Tobias raises his hand.

"Tobias, why do-" she gets cut off by Tobias.

"No Ms Wu... I volunteer Tris to sing." He says and my face drops. I look at Tobias he smirks.

"Oh, well then... Tris come here..." She says kinda.... Happy?

I walk in front of the class and glare at Tobias. He gives me a goofy grin.

I sigh and start to sing.

where my demons hide..." I finish. When I finish everyone looks at me with shock. Did I do something wrong? Was my voice horrible?

Then everyone does something unexpected, they clap,cheer and whistle like crazy. I blush and walk back to my seat.

"Why did you do that?!" I ask.

"Your voice is beautiful..." He says ignoring my question. I blush

"Thank you..." I say smiling.

"You have a beautiful smile," he says" you should smile more often."

I blush even more."Tobias Eaton, are you flirting with me?"

"Maybe..." He mumbles. I smile.

I'm falling for this guy. I'm falling hard. But I can't show my feelings to him. I might end up being hurt like in my last school...

FLASHBACK

I'm waiting for my boyfriend Robert, its been an hour and he hasn't came... I sigh and start walking. I stop in my tracks when i see Robert making out with another girl.

"Robert?!" I scream with tears falling off my face.

He pulls out the kiss and looks at me. He smirks.

"Hey Tris," he says.

"What are you doing..?" I ask.

"Are you blind?" He asks." I never loved you..."

"What?"

"It was a dare Tris..." He says. My heart breaks.

I don't think I just run away crying. Then later on the whole school started pushing me around and calling me names. I always hated it. I shared it with my mom then we moved to Chicago....
