Tessa's POV

The kids were finally a year old and everything was going great.

Luke's band, Five Seconds of Summer, had gotten lots of attention and popularity since their tour with, One Direction.

Thankfully, Brooke and Luke stayed together and stuck with the whole 'long distance relationship' thing.

At the moment, the kids were getting ready to go shopping with me and Luke.

"Luke hurry up!" I yelled from the bottom of the stairs. Before he went upstairs, he said he was going to take a quick shower and now it'd been a while hour.

"Luke! Del! Jamie! I'm going to leave now!" I walked towards the front door and opened and closed it to mimick the sound of me leaving the house. I could hear them running down the stairs and Delilah squealing.

I turn around to find Delilah sitting on Luke shoulders, her hands gripping onto Luke's hair for support, and James running towards me. "You can't leave us!" he complained.

I crouched down to get to the same height level as him. "I know. I would never leave you," I told him.

"Mum, can we buy a toy?" Delilah asked, innocently.

I walked up to her and whispered in her ear. "Only if you're a good girl," she giggle at the ticklish feeling she felt on her ear as I whispered in it.

I tried to reach up and kiss her on her cheek but Luke was too tall for me. As I tip-toed as high as I could, Luke did the same.

"Luke, not fair!" I crossed my arms over my chest and furrowed my eyebrows. He rolled his eyes and bent down a little so I could reach Del's cheek, which I left a tender kiss on.

"You know you could tell me a secret and give me a kiss too," Luke smirked. I lightly hit him on the arm before walking out the house.

Once we reached Target, the kids began running to the toys section while Luke went to the clothing section.

"Okay then, I'll just go with the kids then!" I yelled at Luke, but he plainly ignored me.

As I walked towards the toy section, I could see Del and Jamie's hands towered up with toys. "Only one," I instructed causing them to whine.

"Mum! Look it's Luke, Calum, Ashton and Mikey!" Delilah pointed to a rack of album CDs. I walked towards her and examined the boys' new album. It looked pretty great.

"Sounds Good Feels Good," I read of the front of the CD. I picked up a copy and put it in my trolley before moving away from the kids' section before they change their minds about which toy they wanted.

Once I was done with the kids' shopping, I went to the food area to get the everyday food we needed. I picked up some fruit and small snacks and headed off to find Luke.

I received odd looks from the people who walked past me, and I didn't know why. Was it because I was almost twenty-one and had two kids?

I shook the thought out of my head and walked into the men's section, earning some winks from a few guys, about my age. I made a disgusted face, rolled my eyes and continued looking for Luke.

"Luke!" Jamie pointed to a tall blonde, who was analysing some skinny jeans. Luke turned around at the call of his name.

"Hey, little man!" he gave Jamie a bear hug. "What did you buy?" he asked, still rummaging through a bundle of jeans that looked exactly the same.

"We bought this!" Del grabbed the 5SOS album from the trolley and showed it to Luke. Luke turned his gaze on me and began making faces.

"You seriously picked this up when I could have given you one for free?"

"The kids wanted it. And don't worry I wasn't that desperate," I smirked. "What did you get?" I changed the topic.

He held up two pairs of the same black skinny jeans he was wearing at the moment except these ones had rips on the knees. "Luke, they're the same," I pointed out.

"No they're not. They are ripped skinny jeans. Everyone wears them, so why not try it out?" he walked towards the trolley and placed it inside. I rolled my eyes at how stupid this boy could get.

"I'm gonna go get some t-shirts and I'll meet you here," with that he walked away.

Ten minutes later, the kids were getting irritated and restless, so was I. I was about to go look for the Luke until a familiar voice stopped me.

"Well, well well. Look who we have here!" I turned around to see Dan standing opposite the kids with another guy in a hoodie.

I didn't say a word but gulped the huge lump, that was forming, in my throat, down. "Seems like we'll be having a reunion. Eh?" My stomach began doing familiar flips and turns

The mysterious guy in the hoodie lifted the hood of his head and stepped forward. My breathing stopped. I think I just died. It couldn't possibly be.

"Hey, babe, do you think this is a nice- Josh?" Luke stopped in his spot, his mouth wide opened.

"Josh?" I mumbled, my eyes turning glossy.

Dan smirked. "Well, this is gonna be fun. Isn't it?"
