3 years later

Beth looked in at her reflection. She looked nice. She wore a burgundy dress with black flats.
"Good morning, mom and dad." Beth came downstairs.
"Good morning." Puck said
"Good morning, sweetie." Santana smiled. "Ready to go?"
"Yup." Beth smiled. They all walked out of the house.
"Have a good day at school." Puck kissed her cheek. Beth got into the passenger. Puck and Santana stood outside talking.
She waited ten minutes before beeping the horn.
"I'm going to be late for the first day of school! Hurry up! It's 7:30. It takes 15 minutes to get to school!"
"I'll see you later, babe." Santana kissed Puck and drove to school.
When they arrived most of the parking lot was full. Kids were all over the place. Santana parked into her usual spot. Beth got out.
"Damn, Ms. Lopez looking fine."
"Don't make me give you detention, Jason."
"I-I mean you look very nice today, Ms. Lopez." Jason stuttered
"Thank you." Santana smiled. They split ways in the parking lot.
"Have a good day, sweetie." Santana kissed her cheek.
"Mom, everyone's staring!" Beth wiped away the lipstick. Beth walked away. She meet up with her friend.
"Hey Beth!" Paisley smiled. Paisley had straight blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Hey Pais." They looked at each other's schedule. They walked down the hall together.
"I've been thinking of joining the Cheerios. Join with me."
"My mom said that Coach Sue was horrible. She was captain so she would know."
"That's exactly why you should join. A second generation cheer captain."
"I don't know. My mom talks bad about Coach."
"Please! For me."
"Fine."
"Try outs are today after school. I brought you a change of clothes so don't worry." Paisley walked away. Beth sighed. Paisley had set her up.
After 6th period, Beth made her way to her mother's classroom.
"Ready to go, baby?"
"I'm, um, I'm going to try out for the Cheerios."
"What?! Beth, estas loca! Mi hija se volvió loca. Dios mío ayúdame."
"Mom, you're overreacting. I wanted to see if you want to come and watch the try outs."
"Fine." Santana grumbled.
Santana situated herself on the bleachers. She watched the girls try out. Coach Sue was sitting with two other girls. The captain and the co-captain.
"Sloppy position, horrible balance. No rhythm. Messed up on the backhand spring. You didn't make it! Next!" Sue shouted.
Paisley came out.
"Name?" The captain spoke.
"Paisley Richardson." Sue nodded. The music started and Paisley began to cheer. When it was over, the three females discussed before making a discussion.
"JV! Next!" Paisley smiled. Beth went up next.
"Name?"
"Elizabeth Lopez-Puckerman." She stated. They had added Santana's last name when Beth was 2. Puck thought it was a good idea to add her name and Santana couldn't have been happier to give Beth her last name.
"As in Santana Lopez?" Sue asked. She was intrigued. She had Santana's last name, but she looked so much like Quinn.
"Yes." Beth nodded
"She was captain, you know."
"I know."
"Did you know that your mother, Quinn Fabray, was also captain?" Beth made a face. Sue smiled. She knew what her weak spot was. Quinn Fabray.
"No, but thank you for telling me."
"I expect a lot from you, Fabray-Lopez. Don't make me waste my time." Beth nodded and the music started. Beth did pretty good. She wasn't the best, but she wasn't the worst.
"You didn't make it. You were off tempo and your flips were messy. Maybe you should try something more your speed. The Cheer squad isn't for losers." Beth lower lip trembled. Sue smiled. Sue feed of weakness. Santana had had enough.
"You did fantastic, sweetie! Don't listen to them." She hugged Beth.
"Sandbags, nice to see you. She was birthed by a captain and raised by another, yet she's still can't do a backflip to save her life. How does it feel to know that your daughter is a failure?"
"I wouldn't know? Why don't you ask your mom?" Santana smirked "Also, based on what I've heard, the Cheerios haven't one a competition in ten years. Is Coach losing her touch or does she need a better captain? Glee on the other hand has won plenty of competitions in ten years. Cheer is losing its position in the social scale. Soon, they'll all be losers and the glee club will rise." Santana stalked off with Beth.
"Dylan, you know what you got to do right?"
"Yup." The girl smiled. She was going to have some fun.
The next day, Beth was walking down the hall. Dylan slushied her. What Dylan didn't expect was for Beth to push her against the lockers. She wasn't going to back away from a fight especially from a loser.
A crowd gathered around them, chanting. Punches were thrown. They pulled each other hair and slapped each other. They threw themselves onto the floor.
"Get to class! All of you!" Santana yelled. No one moved they all just stared at her. Santana pushed through the crowd. She say Beth and Dylan fighting on the ground. She yanked Beth up:
"Elizabeth Danielle Lopez-Puckerman, what are you doing?!"
"She started it, mom!" Beth yelled
"She was the one who decided to get physical." Dylan refuted
"Is that true, Elizabeth?" Beth knew her mother was mad. Santana never used her full name unless she was in trouble.
"Yes." She sighed. Lying would only get her in bigger trouble.
"Everyone back to class! You two to the office with me." Santana pulled Beth by the arm. Dylan walked next to Santana.
"Mom, you're hurting me." Santana loosened her grip.
"I can't believe you, Elizabeth. We taught you better than this. Just wait till your father heard about this. You are in so much trouble!" Santana yelled.
"Mom..."
"Be quiet! You're grounded and I'm taking your phone." Beth groaned. Dylan snickered
"And as for you, Dylan. I will make sure your mother hears about this. You see that Cardigan she's wearing. Her abuelo bought it. It's a Ralph Lauren cardigan. You know how much that costs? 898 dollars. It's expensive. Your lucky I'm not making your mom pay for it."
They walked into the office. She told them the situation and they called Dylan's mom.
"Doreen Houston." Dylan's mother stuck her hand out.
"Santana Lopez." Santana shook it.
"So, what seems to be the situation?" Doreen eyes the two girls. They were a mess. Their hair was messed up. Dylan had a tear on her shirt. Beth's cardigan was stained red.
"Well, it seems the girls got into a fight. Dylan slushied Elizabeth. Elizabeth pushed Dyaln into the lockers and they started fighting." The principal explained. Dylan's mother looked absolutely mortified.
"I'm so sorry." She apologized to Santana.
"It's fine. I'm sorry as well."
"It's not fine. She ruined my 900 dollar cardigan." Beth muttered
"900 dollars! Dylan Miranda Houston, do you know how much this going to cost to re pay? 900 hundred dollars paying for that cardigan! You are definitely not getting a new phone." Doreen scowled. She turned to Santana. "I'll pay for it. Don't worry."
"It's fine."
"It was my favorite." Beth said
"Elizabeth!" Santana scolded. Beth stayed quiet.
"Have you decided a punishment?" Santana asked.
"3 days suspension." The two older woman frowned, but nodded.
Beth sat on the couch watching television. Her father walked through the door.
"How was school, Princess?"
"It was fine." She shrugged.
"It was not fine! Noah, she got suspended. 3 day suspension!"
"I'm disappointed in you, Beth."
"Ugh, dad."
"Go to your room." Beth got up and went to her room.
"Hopefully, she isn't turning rebellious." Puck told Santana
"I pray to God she isn't. Quinn was out of control during that phase." Santana sighed
"She's a good girl. I don't think she's going to be that bad." Puck said. Beth wasn't a bad person. He knew his daughter was a good person. She wouldn't be rebellious. Well, he hoped not.
