Just like any other school day, it was quickly passing by. After lunch the three girls parted their ways, promising to meet up at the end of the day and head to the mall. Liz needed some girl time, it was finally nice to have another girl in their group, it wasn't just her and Alex anymore.

Liz began the walk to her free class, though the school liked to call it 'study hall', everyone else chose the latter. Walking into the class, she's not surprised to see one student in the room. She was usually the first in all of them, wasn't her fault she liked to be early, plus there was only three minutes till the bell rang.

She pulled out her laptop from her book bag, thankful that she brought it today or she'd have to sit at one of the desktop computers and possibly have everyone watching her every click.

Pulling up her previous word document, she began typing at a pretty quick pace. She was currently writing a pretty intense story, guess you could call it creative writing.

No matter what was wrong with her, she always somehow found herself writing. In a book, word document or a random sheet of paper, it was her get away from the real world.

The sound of the keys clacking against the frame was all she could hear, that was until the sound of a chair being scraped against the tile brought her back to reality.

Turning her head, she sees none other than calum hood sitting in the row parallel to her's, staring intensely at her. she watches as he pulls out his laptop and begins to start it up. Realizing she'd been staring at the boy, she turns her head, embarrassed by herself, she hears him chuckle and resumes her story.

The class stays pretty quite, besides the group of girls at the front of the room, gawking at calum. Liz always found it pretty annoying how much girls at her school, as well as South Gate, thought calum was cute. She couldn't lie, he was a pretty attractive boy, but he had his flaws just like any other human being. He wasn't "daddy as fuck" or someone she'd "let dick [her] down so quick" like all the other girls said.

She decides to text the girls, since she was currently stuck in a rut because of her story, writer's block sucked.

To THE GIRLZ:
tell me why calum is in my class and all these girls r just staring at him, annoying right?

"I don't think it's that annoying," says a deep raspy voice behind the girl, causing her to jump. "Didn't mean to frighten you."

"Yeah because you didn't just walk up behind me," she says, rolling her eyes at the boy. "Why are you even standing behind me? Plus reading my personal texts?"

"I just wanted to come over here and talk to you," calum answers, pulling the chair out next to her desk. "Plus because I could feel those girls staring at me, and knew if I came over here, they'd just mean mug you and stop worrying about me."

Rolling her eyes for the second time in five minutes, Liz looks towards the girls and in fact they are staring at her. "Thanks a lot," she sighed. "Now they'll start rumors about me, more than they already have."

"I'm sorry," he apologized, "didn't know."

"Honestly, could you just leave me alone?"

"Whoa, why so hostile?" He asked, "what'd I do to you?"

"The fact that your best friend couldn't keep his hands to himself, and basically got me involved Friday is why I don't want you around," she confessed.

Not realizing how loud she was being, she continued, "plus because you're such an arrogant asshole, I don't understand why people like you."

Noticing how quite it had gotten around them, she turns towards the class and sees everyone's eyes on them and the group of girls snickering, whispering in each other's ears, she looks back to the boy and sees the look on his face. She would've felt bad if it weren't for the fact that she was pretty mad at the boy.

He gets up, packs his backpack, making his way towards the front of the room. Before he walks out the door, he turns back towards the girl, who was still standing, and bitterly says, "and I'm the asshole."
