Normal Pov:
It had been weeks since the humans had found out what you were, and since that day, you spent every waking minute replaying the event in your mind, guilt and pain boring deeper into your soul.
You barely slept anymore, only an hour each week. You stopped eating, stopped talking, stopped everything except for sulking and laying in your old bed. The glimmer in your once lively e/c eyes had disappeared, and if anyone ever just gave a glance your way, they would think you were dead.
But, little did you know that a certain male blonde was just the same (no, not Havoc).
Also since that day, Edward had asked for some time off, and Colonel Mustang, seeing how your disappearance affected the boy greatly, obliged. When Edward went home, He didn't speak, and went to his room, flopping uselessly on his bed.
Late that night, when he was sure that Alphonse had walked away from the door and stopped trying to get him out, and was off somewhere else, he cried.
Endless tears streamed down his face as he tried to suppress (and failed) his sobs. In truth, he couldn't stand being away from you, and couldn't stand thinking that you had betrayed them. Betrayed him.
Despair filled him as a hole was pierced through his heart. What could he do, when the girl he was hopelessly in love with had broken his heart in two?
~_~
When he woke the next day, Alphonse was waiting for him outside his room. In an awkward silence, the two brothers walked out the hotel and took a simple walk through a nearby park.
"...Brother?" Alphonse asks, caution in his voice.
"Nh?" Edward hums.
"...I heard you crying last night. Are you okay?"
"...I'm-"
"Don't give me bullshit, brother."
Taken back, Edward stares in disbelief at his younger brother. Did Alphonse really just do that?
( A/N: Yes, yes he did. *evil laughter*
Alphonse: Author-san... -.-" )"Tell me the truth, brother."
"Guess I can't hide anything, can I?" Edward sighs, and tells Alphonse what he's been feeling.
While listening, it dawned on Alphonse how much in love Edward was for you. He understood him, as well. In the harboring silence that awaited after Edward's confession, Alphonse patted his brother on the back and said, "Maybe... (Y/N) wasn't betraying us but... just trying to live like a human. Maybe she still wants to be here. With us."
"But she's-"
"It doesn't matter what she is, brother!" Alphsonse intervenes. "If you love her, then be with her! Cause I'm sure that deep inside she must've loved you too."
Damn... Edward thought as he looked at his brother. And this is my little brother telling me this...
Suddenly, Edward got up and let out a burst of energy, running out of the park and to who knows where. Watching, Alphonse nodded and whispered, "Good luck, brother."
Now he had to face his own confrontations.
Edward's Pov:
I don't know what the hell I'm doing. Or where I'm going, as a matter of fact. Just running. But I know what I'm running for. (Y/N). I'm running to find her. To tell her that I love her.
It rains harshly down on me as I slow down in an alleyway.
But... I'll never find her. She's with the other homunculus now, probably being coaxed into something or whatever.
Yeah, that's right.
A tear rolls down my cheek.
I can't save my (Y/N), now that she's disappeared in the shadows.
Sorry for the shortness. Anyways, this chapter to me seems a bit...dark and cliche (especially that end part). Is that bad? I have no idea. Oh well! Anyways, until the next chapter (gonna be crying for life in that one), Bye-Bye!
Ed: Why do u always do that in the end? Makes u sound like a toddler.
Your a toddler!
No I'm not!
*starts bickering*
Al: ....-_-"""
*Is strangling Edward* Okay, chao!
