A/N: New version of the Chapter!! It's different now!!

Picture of Lindsay.

Lindsay's POV

I am currently lying in my bed in my room at Headquarters with the Order, the Weasleys, and Hermione Granger. We are all waiting for Harry Potter to get here. I should probably tell you a bit about me. I'm 15 years old. I'm half Siren, half witch.

A Siren is pretty much as the name tells. We use our voices to sing something so pure sounding that we can bend the will of others and make them do pretty much anything. Make them do anything or feel any emotion. We can also let out a blood curdling shriek that can knock someone unconscious or cause them much pain. That's usually Banshees though. Only Banshees can kill someone or, if they're close enough to someone, destroy their face or something. It's hard to explain, but it's quite the power. Sirens are the singers and Banshees are the screamers. Although both species can do both just not as well as the other.

Sirens are also called the reverse mermaid. Mer-people cannot sing above water as it sounds like a blood-curdling shriek. Whereas with Sirens, that happens when we sing beneath the water. It's weird I know.

Oh well. I should feel lucky and grateful that The Order let me stay here. You're probably wondering what I have to do with all this. I'm Harry Potter's long lost half-sister. Younger than him by a few days. I just turned 15 two days ago.

I'm here to try and give Sirens a good name. Also, my mum wants me to get proper schooling in magic. Those back home can't teach me much more.

The Ministry, though reluctantly, agreed, which was a bit unbelievable if you ask me. The 'catch' was I don't kill or injure anyone, and my mother stop kidnapping and killing men. She already did last year, they just don't trust her. Those were their terms. Ours were that I could still sing, tell others I am a Siren on my own terms, and tell Harry I'm his sister when I want.

I heard the front door open and people walk in. Another thing, Sirens have heightened senses and emotions. Moody and Kingsley must be back with my brother. I heard Mrs. Weasley tell him to go upstairs where he got a greeting from Hermione and Ron. And then a bit later from the Weasley twins. A little later they decided to eavesdrop with one of the twins little inventions.

I walked out of my room and saw them all huddled by the stairs listening to the meeting. "Didn't your mother ever tell you not to eavesdrop?" They all jumped at my voice. I saw something tugging at the thing Fred was holding. "I think you caught something." It broke and he cursed at it.

Harry asked, "Who are you?"

"Lindsay. Lindsay Orins." I answered.

"Um, not to sound rude, but why are you here?" Harry asked slowly.

"She's a family friend of Sirius.." George began before I could speak.

"She's starting at Hogwarts this year as a 5th year." Fred continued.
"Don't know where she learned magic before."

"She's definitely a weird one though." They both finished.

Then Fred added with a smirk, "But very pretty."

I rolled my eyes and ignored them. "I am a family friend of Sirius. He and my father went to school together. At least that's what I've heard, I never really knew my father. And I suppose I am a bit strange."

He was about to ask what I meant when, "Dinner's ready!" Mrs. Weasley called. The twins apperated downstairs, startling Molly who scolded them for it.

"It's nice to see you out and about, Lindsay." Mrs. Weasley told me, smiling. We were all seated and eating the dinner she made us.

Harry gave me a confused look. I was about to say something when Fred interrupted. "Lindsay here hasn't been out of her room since she got here a few days ago. She had dinner with us and then went to bed and we hadn't seen her since now."
