The king and queen gasped in horror, for they would never make such a decision, "Foul beast! Leave my kingdom immediately! No one takes my daughter, especially you!" The Dark One laughed, and with the wave of his hand everyone in the castle froze. "Pardon me your kingliness, but do you want to be responsible if your kingdom falls apart? What was that? Oh, I'll gladly take her! Thank you kind sir." Still frozen with magic, he grabs Emma and unfreezes her from his spell.

"Hello my darling, now come on, you're coming with me." Emma pulled away, running back to her parents but sober as they were still as statues, "Undo it! Take this damn curse away from my parents you monster!" He only laughed at her begging, "Don't worry young lass, they'll be frozen as long as your here. If you leave with me, the spell on them will be undone. Your father was a fool to ignore my warnings of war, so this is his price to pay; to live the rest of his life without his daughter."

Emma cried, taking darkness by the hand and followed him out the building. They walked towards the castle gates, and the second her foot hit dirt road out of her home, she felt a brush of wind and saw her parents run around frantically looking for her. The second her mother's eyes locked with hers, they cried, knowing they'll never see each other again. The Dark One seeing her discomfort, smiled, "If you're that worried, you'll see them again- when your dead."

He let out a menacing smile, and grabbed her arm, "I hate walking, let's just get you to your new home shall we?" He raised his hand, and in puff of thick blue smoke they appeared in the dark empty halls of the Dark One's castle. "Home sweet home..." He chuckled, sitting on his throne, watching as the princess just stood there not knowing what to do. "Are you just going to stand there like an idol? If so, I'm tossing you into my vault." He snapped, scaring the princess.

"Why am I even here?! You got what you wanted, so let me go!" She cried, still not running from her spot and out the door. The Dark One smiled, and with magic he removed the cloak over his body wearing his regular attire. Black leather jacket, pants, and boots. Along with it, his red velvet vest with black engravings and the silver chain around his neck with a skull and sword. "Lass, if you wanted out why're you still here? The door's wide open." He pointed towards two large oakwood doors wide open revealing the hallway and out the front gate.

"I'm not stupid, if I fled you would've just recaptured me and toss me in a dungeon for all I know you beast!" She yelled, tears falling down her face, "My mother was right, you are not someone who can change. Not now, not ever." The Dark One was taken back by her words, sitting at his lonesome throne, "You? You out of all people thought I could change? Well next time Swan, listen to your mother. I get what I want, and now that I have it-"

"If you wished for a throne and got it, what then? If you wished to become the Dark One and got it, what then? If you wanted to take me away from my family and succeeded, what then?! A villain is someone who's happiness is from someone's suffering, and that never ends well! Take me home now!" She screamed at him, stomping her heel to the ground in anger.

This enraged the Dark One, for he didn't think a princess of such a kingdom would show very little respect. "Now, now, don't be so hasty. Remember, it was a deal. Leave and the deal will be off, meaning your pathetic kingdom will be devoured by the war that is to come." The princess walked up to the Dark One, which concerned him. No one has ever reached within ten feet of him, and not even his slave Mr. Smee. Except her she was, standing so close he never thought was possible.

Raising her arm, she made one single swoop and the back on her hand flew right across his face, the loud sound of skin hitting skin echoing through the castle. The impact was so sudden, it took him mere seconds just to realize what just happened. His eyes were wide, that dark glint washed away and cleared with a glow of bright blue, but it was brushed away as that clear shade of blue was flushed back to it's darkened state.
