Fro-yo and Besties

You'd been introduced to the team. Although most of them looked at you skeptically in the beginning, that is with the exception for Thor and Tony, Fury just accepted all the help he could get, saying he'll have questions later.

Tony had told you sit and wait for him as he walked off once you were all inside, but you wanted to see the scepter up close, so you followed it along with Bruce Banner, or Dr. Banner as you called him, you can tell his body was poisoned, but it wasn't killing him. So you said nothing.

You ended up in a lab, most of your time just chatting with Dr. Banner as he was working, not that he minded the companionship as he commented. You were examining around your surroundings when you heard the resonating sound of marching, your hair fluttering behind you as you dashed towards the window, all too intriguingly.

You watched as Loki was being escorted by a throng guards, he seemed taller than most of them, just taller in general for that matter.

Backing away from the window as he drew near, he looked at Dr. Banner, who you were now 'assisting' with as much as possible. As he continued to be escorted down the corridor you asked, "Where are they taking him?"

"Somewhere not pleasant." Was all he uttered, as he continued his work. "Can you hand me that tool?" He finally asked you, once he was back into his work, engrossed with whatever he was looking at.

"Yeah," you answered him, not really know which tool he pointed at, so you just grabbed most of them, and held them out on display for him to choose.

Looking at your hands he gave you a small smile, "So I heard you're not used to it here yet? Why did you stay away for so long, that is if you don't mind me asking." The doctor asked you finishing up whatever he was doing.

"I've had help adjusting, just small things it seems that mostly slip by me, like what is this 'fro-yo' Tony keeps speaking of! He won't tell me, and I've asked many of times, to the point of pestering him, still nothing... Frooo~yooo?" You said while testing the word on you tongue, changing the subject gave the room a lighter feeling, than talking about your past ever would have. Chuckling Bruce put down his tools and walk towards you, "It's just frozen yogurt, fro.. yo. You know what yogurt is correct?" He gave you a small smirk and it grew as you feverishly nodded.

Stark would pay for making you curious about such tiny things, speak of the devil he called your name, just as you were about to excuse yourself, off to find Tony, Banner started speaking, "Well, we should get back to the others." Nodding once more you both walk out of his lab, when he turned around to lock up, you left a bushel of Peruvian Lilies for him, seeing him smile as he looked around, grabbing them and unlocking his lab you left to find Tony.

He was talking with Agent Coulson, if you remembered his name correctly. You made yourself visible but still without a body to them. "Ah there she is," looking back he said to the agent,"see I told you she'd come if you call her name, " putting a hand over his mouth but not being any quieter he said, "would have been easier if I knew this a long time ago."

Still floating there Coulson was still staring at you the whole time. Cocking your head to the side you yelled out, "RAWR!" The agent didn't even flinch. "You're as Tony would say such a bore." To that he smiled.

"I take it you didn't actually need me." Addressing Tony this time, you follow behind them as they began to walk once more, you still floating.

"You know me so well already, wouldn't you say we're besties by now?" Tony playfully chimed. "What is this 'besties' you speak of, I don't know of it?" Making both of the men laugh, as you didn't get an answer you went on ahead as you heard the others. "He's adopted," you hear from Thor, everyone turned as the other two followed behind you.

Your question would have to be answered later, as the ambiance was rather strained at the moment. Tony took charge once he walked in. Not wanting to be a bother and just observe you flew high above the team and techs, as Tony went on you saw him place something on one of the monitors.

The others chimed in here and there, with little snippets. You had completely zoned off even more-so as Fury arrived, you studied their faces and the way they interacted more than pay attention to what they were saying. That is until you noticed they all were looking at you.

Tony and Banner was standing next to each other, Steve and Natasha were still sitting down, Thor and Fury not that far from each other, with the two agents, who had introduced themselves earlier, standing off to the side.

"Did you ask something of me?" Admitting you were not paying attention. "Nick asked if you could stop adding flowers to his ceiling." Tony said, not knowing what he was speaking of, you look behind you to see vines coming out of your body, ghost vines, not real unless you made them real.

"I apologize," you float down materializing only your body, landing with a thud. Tony wraps an arm around your shoulder, "Come on Bestie, you are better off with me." Dragging you along with and Doctor Banner, you ask, "Doctor what is this 'Bestie' he calls me?"

Smiling Banner says, "A good friend," "Best Friend!" Tony corrects.

"So, I'm your friend? Or 'Bestie', yours as well Doctor?" You ask with a timid voice. "No! He's just your friend, I'm the only bestie." Tony interrupts as Banner says sure. This making you tremendously happy, your skin's tint started to turn yellow and orange, "Tony, she's changing color," Banner observed.

"Oh she does, that occasionally, I noticed with extreme emotions, you'll get used to it." Tony says nonchalantly, "See I know you more than others, I have to be your only bestie," he adds. Which in turn makes you smile, "What about JARVIS!" You say excitedly.

"Remind me to fire JARVIS later." Tony playfully says, as he hands you an earpiece like the others have. "I put this in my ear!" Grabbing it you put it in, and Tony turns it on for you. "Will everyone be able to hear me..." You whisper out, "Yes, we can even if you whisper," Natasha says through the ear piece. "Whoa! I hear you," you exclaim, "Show her how to turn it off Stark." You hear Rogers this time and a laughing Natasha, "Steve Rogers! I shall see you all later!" Mimicking the button Tony pressed you turned it off.

"She's growing up so fast," in a mocking somber voice Tony says cradling his face. Arriving to Banner's lab, you couldn't stop smiling. "Do best friends get frozen yogurt together?" You ask showing Tony, you knew what fro-yo was now. 

This made both Tony, and Bruce laugh, you joining in with them.
