"You have done me wrong. I tried to be your friend. I was good to you." the person holding my father hostage said through MAJOR tears. I still couldn't guess the person's gender.

"Listen, tell me who you are, and I'll tell you everything you want." I said.

"I was the one who held the door for you every morning. I used to hang around you, help you, did anything you wanted." she said.

"Oh my god. I am so sorry. I never realized... I-"

"Stop apologizing. It's over now." she said as she held a knife closer to my father's throat.

"STOP. DON'T HURT HIM. HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING." I screamed at the top of my lungs. I loved my father and I wasn't about to let him or her, I STILL didn't know whether the person was a girl or a boy.

"I AM REALLY SORRY I NEVER NOTICED YOU, BUT THAT IS NO REASON TO HURT EVERYONE I HAVE. THESE PEOPLE YOU ARE KILLING, THEY ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE I HAVE." I was screaming louder now. I couldn't believe how loud I was.

"help..." I heard a faint voice from the other room, but the only people who were in the house were me, that person who is trying to kill my family, and my dead mo-.... OH MY GOD. MY MOTHER IS STILL ALIVE. I HAVE TO GO SAVE HER.

I ran to the other room, untied my mother, and ran out of my house, carrying her with me. I had 911 on the phone while I was driving and explained everything. They came to my house by the time I had hung up the phone. I dropped my mother off at the hospital and they took her right away into a room with at least 10 doctors examining her while some other ones were putting every piece of internal organ back inside her. Once I knew she was in good hands, I drove back to the house, knowing that the police was there. They caught the person and my father came running towards me.

"Thank you for saving me and your mother." he said hugging me.

"I'm sorry I got us into this." I said.

"Nothing here is your fault, now, let's go find out who did this." he said to me.

The cops pulled down the hoodie of the person. That person lied to me, she never held the door at school everyday. How could she? She was Celia's mother.  As soon as I saw her, I punched her in the face.

"I'm not done yet.." she said getting shoved into the police car.

I was very terrified. I couldn't believe this. I guess my father could see the fear in my eyes, because he told me everything was okay.

It is now one year later.

"SHE BROKE OUT OF PRISON." I screamed.

"we have to leave, we have to get out of here." my father said.

"but where do we go?" I asked.

"We have a place." my father said looking at my mother with concern.
