It's been a week since the ceremony. The girls have learned quite a few things about Mafia Org in the past week.
Misty smiled as she throttled downstairs to the breakfast table. The missions the teams attend depended on their ranks. The higher ranks assassins gets the more advanced missions and the lower ranks get the more common missions. But there are more low rank missions than high ranks because the higher ones were more... High levelled let's just say.
Since there were currently no missions for Ash's team, they're free to do whatever they want as long as it's in Mafia Org- which was fine because Mafia Org had practically everything.
She walked over to the breakfast tables only to find everyone already waiting for her.
"Ohayo! (good morning)" She greeted them with a warm smile.
"Ohayo!" The group greeted back as Misty took a seat beside Serena.
"Did you have a good sleep?" Serena turned towards her.
"Yup!" Misty grinned, "a really good one as well."
"Geez what took you so long? I'm starving!" Iris pouted.
"My bad, my bad," Misty giggled, "I was looking around."
Everyone nodded and clapped their hands together, "Well then, itadakimasu."
"You're in a nice mood today, what happened?" Bianca asked as he shoved a spoonful of cereal into her mouth.
Misty simple smiled, "Just enjoying the free time while I still can." Her eyes unconsciously shifted over to Ash, who was gobbling up the food like he haven't ate for days.
"You sure like food, don't you?" she chuckled.
Ash looked up at her, "I guess."
Suddenly, Shauna shot up in her seat, causing everyone to look at her.
"Something's missing..." she muttered as she looked around, "Where's Gary?"
"He was assigned a mission along with Drew," replied Paul.
"No wonder it's so quiet today," Shauna grinned as she took a piece of pancake covered with maple syrup.
Misty sweat dropped. She didn't know Gary that well yet, but she could tell that he's a really talkative person who was practically excited about everything in life, the complete opposite of Ash.
Misty paused.
Now that she thought about it, Ash was never really excited about anything. Except for the food festival a few days ago, but that was because he was really hungry. Well actually, there isn't a time where he's not hungry, or is there? But there must be something that interests him other than food...
Suddenly, she stopped her thoughts and sighed. Why was she thinking about Ash so much? Sure the raven-haired boy left a bold impression, but that wasn't quite the reason why she was thinking about him non stop.
Misty frowned, she can't pin point the exact reason and that was frustrating her.
"Misty, something wrong?" May asked, snapping her back to reality. "You seemed to be dozing off."
"No-nothing at all!" Misty said a bit to quickly. May looked at her strange but then went back to eating her food.
"I'm full," Misty stood up from her chair and spun round, "I'll be upstairs."
