I was sitting there waiting for Jake to come in with my hot chocolate. I was shuffling my Iphone as I did so , he walked in and handed me a cup and sat down on a chair placed opposite to his bed. We knew each other for like years, and we were best friends since we r neighbors too well that pretty much says it all about us. He was tall almost about 6’feet he had brown hair all messed up just like how it’s supposed to be. Broad shoulders with a little muscular and a little bit of a jock!
We even shared our personal stuff too,I know that’s a little wired but also I know everything about him. Including the number of dates he has been on and how it all ended up.Well love wasn’t his thing
While I was dazing off staring into my cup, he had already finished and was calling my name to make sure I was still on earth
”Alice ? You all right?”
I shook my head “Yeah ! I was just thinking”
He grinned “You can think?”
I punched his arm “Hey!”
I took a long sip on my hot chocolate and handed the cup over to him “Thanks”
He smiled and kept the cups on the table new by
”You know what ?” he said with the same excited look he had we ever he was going to go on a date! Oh boy not again!
”Let me guess you’re ready to get you’re heart broken again and make me wanna punch her again?” I turned the radio on Crush by David Archuleta was on!
Man this made me get butterflies in my stomach, I turned it off “Why did you do that for?” He frowned.
I looked at him and moved closer to him, just then I realized our faces were just inched away “Focus Jake! I don’t want another bitch to ditch you and give me a lame excuse when I go and ask why she dumped you!” I controlled so hard not to blush recognising the distance between us.
I could smell his choco filled breath and I could also see how amazingly beautiful his eyes were of. Chocolate brown. Funny isn't it how everything reminds me of chocolate when I'm with him?
”She is not like then others Alice! She is so amazing, hot, smart and so much more-“
before he could finish I cut him off “like a bitch who’s going to dump you in the end” He looked away.
Ugh! I hated saying this but,” I’m sorry for overreacting, I’m going to go and get ready for Dave’s party today remember that at least?” I got up
He cheered up in a matter of seconds and said “Hell yeah! Who would want to miss a party with drinks in it?”
I grinned “well I’ll meet you in ten okay?”
”Okay!” he was so anxious
I went to the balcony were the branches of my tree were rested I loved this tree cause it was a was for me to get to Jake in a matter of just a few minutes , the other branch lead to my window which was quite big for a person to fit through, without any problem!
I winked at him when I reached my room and shut it.
I went over to my closet and searched for a total party dress! Which would make me look like a normal person, but all I got on was a short sleeved t-shirt black with a cute printed design which made it look so awesome on me
and I wore my skinny jeans, I let my red-brown hair loose. And yeah what they say is so true! Redheads are so short tempered and I’m also athletic!
I almost forgot aboutJake’s huge secret, he was a vampire! I know what people think that it’s awesome and stuff but believe me it sucked! Poor guys had to go through a lot to be used to being near human, vampires had a chain around their neck which keeps them controlled. You know like they wouldn't go around killing people. While I messed up my hair cause I just like it that way, I got out of my room door and outside I saw my pet dog ‘ Nikki standing there with her eyes on me.
I smiled at her and patted her head and headed downstairs, thank goodness no one was there. I left my house and I was astonished to see Jake already ready in his car “Whoa dude! That was fast what’s up?” I said smirking as I sat down
”Aw! nothing much my date is coming to the party that means we could spend time with each other there too” I tried not to frown and said “oh! That’s great, now can we just go before I start to regret leaving my home? “
he smiled and started the engine saying ”okay okay! Keep you’re pants on!”
After a few minutes drive we reached our destination, rumors of us going out was spread last year but I straitened it out that we are ‘Just Friends!’ so we got out and went inside, the house was so huge, the music blowing out the windows and doors so loud with drinks.
Jake was walking beside me,but then he picked up his pace and headed for a girl a blond wait! Woah! Not Angelina? Shit!
Angelina is like a player, she went out with so many guys, that I doubt she is a virgin!
Jake went right to her and kissed her on the cheek, while she smiled
the look on Jake’s face was very happy.I just kept walking to the bar counter to get some drink.
There was vodka, beer and some other punches I met up with Dave (the host of the party) “ Hey Dave awesome party man” I gave him a fist punch
he laughed “woah! still didn’t give up you’re old t-shirt and jeans dress-code?”.
”hey shut up!” I got a bottle of beer and drank it in one gulp, cause I was upset. Dave looked at me amused “slow down Alice, you’re going to throw up, if you take in too much of this”but, I didn’t care !
I was too sad that I need to get Jake out of my head, but that couldn’t be done because Jake and Angelina came right up to me with some drinks.
”Hey Al, you look drunk already” I took another bottle of vodka this time and drank it
”Yup, and who’s that next to you ? Angelina?”She put on a fake smile and turned away clearly indicating that she didn’t like me
”Yeah!” he blushed . “Seems like she doesn’t like me” I whispered. “I don’t care she is so awesome! And a good kisser too”
A what-???? A good kisser? So they were making out all this time? God damn it ! I turned and walked away from him
I tried to be normal but I was just standing out from the others there I looked fine while the other girls-Angelina- wore slutty dresses like short skirts and tank tops and even bikini’s I looked around and I saw Dave sitting alone on his couch with his drink in his hand.
I went over to him and sat down near him “hey! You aren’t enjoying your own party?”
he nodded and said “well I’m just dateless and pissed-off that’s all “
He looked really sad, I kisses him on his cheek “Aw! Cheer up man, she is somewhere around here I’m sure!” I winked
I saw a small smile lit up his face “Really?”
”Yeah” I said grinning
”or why don’t we just hang out instead of me waiting?” he asked
Wow that was a shocker, it came out of the blue
”um, sure I guess” I was drunk a lot! I didn’t think twice before saying anything
before I knew it he said something and kissed me , it was intense and I kissed him back.
A cough sound interrupted us I looked up and saw Jake standing there
He raised a brow “Al, can I have a word with you?”
I nodded I got up and gave Dave a small kiss and said “BRB”
Jake looked at Dave and whispered something to him, which made him laugh.
”what was that about?” he asked as we moved away from Dave
”I well found myself a guy, any problem with that?”
He shook his head “No”and then looked around whether any one was over hearing and said
“Angelina is a vampire too” I almost jumped when he said that “What the f-?”
”shhh” he hissed ! “seriously? Is she also? Vamp???” I was so shocked
”yeah she is” okay now my head started to spin “she’s waiting for me so I will see you later k” he walked away
I walked back to Dave and sat down and took a long sip of vodka “ugh! I'm going crazyDave"
“really? Huh?”
I got up and pulled Dave to the Dance floor and started to dance, moving my hips and swinging my head.
Dave also danced with me, before I knew it we were sex dancing!
a crowed gather around us cheering and whistling
I was about to pass out when I saw Jake calling out my name and cutting through the crowd to get to me. Just then I passed out! Everything went black....
