Accidentally Pregnant

Dr. Sal to the Rescue

2 weeks and nothing.

No text.

No call.

Brian hasn't talked to her.

She sat on her sofa with a tub of ice cream on her lap. Her morning sickness was fading but she had to start wearing maternity clothes so she didn't feel sexy anymore.

She locked herself in her flat watching movies ignoring every phone call waiting for Brian to ring.

But still nothing.

She was currently sat on the sofa
watching Finding Nemo. When a knock came at her door.

She chose to ignore it.

After three minutes of knocking she heard 'B, It's Sal. Let me in'

Beth smiled at the use of the nickname Sal, James and Joe use for her and went towards the door.

Sal felt his heart break when he saw Beth. Wearing one of Brian hoodies on top of her clothes. Her hair was just all over the place not like she normally had it and her eyes look puffy and tired at the same time.

'Hi Sal' Beth said

'Oh sweetie, you don't look good' Sal said hugging her.

'Thanks for that Sal' Beth glared playfully

He pulled her into a hug 'He'll come around'

Beth sighed 'I don't know this time, Sal. He didn't look happy'

'He's confused right now'  Sal said 'You need to show him it's not effecting you'

'I can't see him and try to be happy. All I want is him' Beth plopped on the coach.

'I know sweetie' Sal comforted her as she started to cry.

'Three years and now I have nothing' Beth cried

'Listen to me' Sal made her look at him. 'You have a gorgeous baby growing inside you, you need to focus all that energy and all that love you have for Q on that baby. It will be the best feeling in the world watching the baby grow and you can be the reason it's happy'

Beth smiled 'Thank you Sal' she hugged him

'No problem, Sal always here for you' Sal smiled

'Dr. Sal to the rescue' Beth giggled

'Come on' Sal smiled 'Get changed, I need your help planning Marie's surprise birthday party

'I don't know Sal' Beth sighed looking down 'I don't feel like going out'

'I'm going to come back tomorrow and we will get you out this house' Sal told her 'So, get some sleep'

'I will, thank you Sal' Beth smiled

'Just think about the good time you had with Brian. He's a good guy' Sal asked 'He really does love you'

Beth heard the door close and she sighed. He was right Brian was a good guy and she has many memories of that.

But one stuck out like a swore thumb.

Brian sat at a table with Murr, Sal and Marie watching Joe and Bessy dance.

'They look so happy' Marie smiled 'It's a shame Beth is missing this'

'It's a shame' Murr said 'She is the life and soul of the party'

'I miss her' Brian sighed.

Silence fell within the group as they watch the couple dance.

'Well I miss you guys too' a voice came from behind.

'Beth, you got here' Marie beamed running towards her best friend.

'Yeah just my make up and hair not the best but hey I just want to party' Beth smiled as Brian stood up.

He looked her up and down, her hair was tied in a bun with a pink flower. She wore a long blue dress which highlighted her chest.

'You look gorgeous' Brian kissed her lips softly

'You don't look so bad yourself' Beth said pulling him towards her 'that suit looks handsome'

'Why thank you' Brian smiled as he held her to his side 'How long do you have till your back on the road?'

'One whole week' Beth beamed 'I'm all yours for a whole week'

'I love the sound of that' Brian smirked kissing her

'You guys are so cute' Marie mumbled

'Hey Beth' Joe shouted

Bessy hugged Beth 'I'm so glad you made it'

'Sorry I missed the wedding' Beth said hugging Joe 'Congratulations'

'Well you are here now' Bessy grabbed her hand 'Come on ladies we are dancing'

Beth grabbed Marie arms as they all danced on the floor as the boys watched on.

'He's really missed you today' Marie smiled at her best friend.

'Has he said he loves you yet' Bessy asked

'No not yet' Beth turned to Marie 'Have you and Sal got together yet'

'No' Marie mumbled 'I'm too scared he will say no'

'Right ladies, we are whisking you all away from your gossiping' Joe said grabbing his wife as Sal dragged Marie away.

Beth turned to see Brian holding his hand out 'can I have this dance?'

Beth giggled as she put her hands around his neck 'you can't dance'

'It can't be that hard' he smiled swaying them to the music

'Can't believe one of you guys got married' Beth mumbled

'I know, thank you for flying here straight after the shoot' Brian said

'I wanted to be here earlier but work would of killed me' Beth smiled 'I love your friends I wish I could see them and you more'

Brian lifted her chin with his hand making her look at him 'I love you'

That was the first time they said that in their relationship. Beth smiled widely

'I love you too, Brian' she attached her lips to his in a passionate kiss.

Beth and Brian spent the rest of the night with their friends. Laughing, drinking and dancing the night away.

That was her happiest memory with Brian, she felt sad realising she could lose him and more of those memories. She had to do something about it.
