The rain drops trickled down my face and collected under my chin. I was out of breath from running half an hour at full speed. I couldn't shift in to my wolf or they would of tracked me with ease.I gave Taliha a quick glance before I checked to the left and then to the right. The houses were deadly quiet and there was not a single living thing to be seen. I quickly walk to a muddy corner in the ally way I was hiding in, and dip my to fingers in the mud and make four marks on my face. Two on my left cheek and two on my right cheek. I hear an odd noise and spin my head so fast I think it might of cracked.

Coast is clear

The warm bundle was still sound asleep and a petite smile fell to my lips. My daughter, my beautiful angel, the thing that I had found love for was now going to leave me because of some stupid little prick. Taliha's small but dark eye lashes stay still as her cheat rises and falls due to her even breaths. I don't think I have ever loved someone as much as her. She's my everything, but just in a matter of minutes she would be in front of someone's house alone and to never know how much her mother loved her. I quickly take a chain out from my coat pocket and place it in between her mint green blankets. The chain was the letter "A" and the letter "T" joined up together. It was two necklaces but it joined as one when you put the letters together. The chain was white gold with a diamond in the of the "N" and where the two lines meet on the "T". I had gotten it on purpose for me and Taliha.

My head blots up and I spotted a dark shadow move across the street. They'er already here? That can't be! I was expecting them to be here in a couple hours! My heart raced and the only thing I could hear was my heart thudding louder and louder until I could feel it in my ears. I looked from my angel to my surrounding and then back to my angel. She was still asleep and it relaxed me a bit.

Lightning flashed across they dark sky and the luminous stars. The rain was still pouring from the sky above. My legs began to weaken and I couldn't let that happen, not here, not now. I ran as fast as I could trying hard not to wake up my child.Sharply turning to the left, down the road and then toward a big flat. I had no other option than to leave here here, but before I said goodbye to her I looked up the building and read to myself, " Johnson Orphanage."

"I was told that that was the worst place to leave a little child, liker her," announced a low husky voice from behind me. Frozen and unable to speak I turned myself around to face the one and only person I least expected to be here. Zackie.

"Well, well, well what do we have here? hmmmm?" I manage to say in a mocking voice. " I was expecting all your little minions to be after me, but no you decided to loosen up your muscles just for me, aww how sweet," I said this as I put my hands to my heart and tilted my head to the side. His evil smirk vanished from his face and there was just pure anger and hatred in his eyes but soon his emotions were gone and I found myself staring at nothing but a normal eye.

"You little bitch," he hissed.

"Ahhhh help me, I'm really scared of a little pathetic man ,who thinks he's all hard core because he beat up a pregnant women and she COUNDN'T help herself only to try and protect the one and only thing she loved," I challenged. Zackie snarls like a wide beast. Before he could grab me in his claws the light when off and footsteps were fast approaching toward the door. Taliha started to fidget in her wet blanket and quickly fluttered her eyes open. This was the last I would ever see her big eyes. She had the most exotic eyes I had ever seen. One eye was half brown and hazel with gold flicks in them and the other one had the most beautiful shade of crystal blue. I quickly gave her a peck on the forehead and gently placed her down in front of the door, where the rain couldn't reach her. I twisted my head only to find Zackie gone and the keys jingled behind the big double brown doors. An old lady with small round glasses and a crooked back came to the door. I quickly hid behind one of the huge white pillars and didn't move.
