Chapter 11- Goodbye Car, a Game of Tag and Telling Nina

----Nina's POV----
Axel told me to ask him anything I wanted to know. So I instantly asked him where I was. Axel didn't look surprised at my question. He said "you're at my house." I was a little annoyed he was keeping short and simple, I need some more details on what was going on. Without having to ask 101 questions. But, I decided to play along 'why am I here and whose room is this?' He grimaced at my question before answering slowly and carefully. "There was an accident and you are in my room." I stared at him for a few moments why in the name of CHOCOLATE COATED GUMMY BEARS am I in HIS ROOM. I wrote 'What accident?' While giving him a 'Tell me what happened or else look.' He rubbed the back of his neck and looked everywhere except for at me. He sighed before he replied "you and your brothers were attack by wolves, your car crashed into a near by tree." I looked at him crashed? We CRASHED into a TREE! I quickly wrote terrified of they answer to my question. I held up the phone shaking. It read 'is my car okay?' He looked shocked and said "I just told you that you were attacked by werewolves and you and Collin crashed, but you're worried about your car?" I nodded. Duh! My brothers are, well some actually are, practicality immortal. My car however is NOT! Axel said "are you sure you're alright, no concussion or anything, cause I wanna know how you aren't freaking out or worried." I looked at him then wrote ' Well they're fine right? Because I wouldn't buy it if you said they were hurt. Since they aren't human. But Axel how do you know about werewolves?" His eyes grew wide at his mistake then began to stutter "I-I ummm I-it's umm-" I cut him off by slicing my hand in the air and then typed on my phone "look wolf-boy no point trying to come up with a pathetic excuse, I don't care about the fact you're not human considering, I live with vampires and werewolves, all I wanna know is if my expensive, collectible car which belonged to my actual dad, is still alive." He placed his hand on my shoulder then slowly shook his head. "Did you bring it back?" I wrote. He nodded then said "we had it brought back." I started to cry while typing "how bad is it?" I bit my lip as Axel said "you really don't wanna know." I started clenching my fists, trying to calm myself. But Axel had to ruin my calmness "Do you normally not let people drive your car or something? Cause you know stuff like this happens." I looked at him as if he were an idiot, which I'm starting to think that he was. Do I not usually let people drive my car? Of course NOT! That was the first time I let anyone else drive it, besides Cole who helped me restore it. And I only trusted Cole cause he was my twin brother! And I'm never going to let someone else even touch it, let alone drive it anymore. I typed on my phone and asked "are my brothers here?" He nodded and said "yeah they're in the lounge room, why?" I instantly jumped out the bed and practically ran out the door. I could hear their voices while walking downstairs and followed them to the kitchen. My brothers saw me, and I guess I looked angry. Cause they went wide eyed and began slowly backing away. I walked forward carefully moving towards them. Jayden spoke first "hey sis how are you? I bet you must be happy everyone's okay-." His talking became slower and desperate as he spoke, until he just gave up. "- so that you can kill us yourself" I slowly nodded with an evil grin. Aidan calmly opened the back door before yelling "EVERYONE RUN!" As they all began to bolt out the door I quickly jumped the counter, then grabbed Caleb and pined him to the wall before he could use his vampire speed. Caleb was held to the wall with my for arm against his throat.  Caleb immediately started trying to calm me down. Lets go to the Irish they said. It would be fun, they said. Yeah it was fun, but what do I get for listening to them? A demolished car! I heard someone wonder into the kitchen and from the feelings I was getting it was Axel. But, I don't care and now isn't the time for that. I looked up at Caleb and he looked down and smiled at me. Sometimes I love his mind reading abilities. I swiftly dropped my arm and we dashed to the door like bats outta hell. As I was about to run out the back door I signalled to Axel 'you coming.' I honestly don't care what he thinks is going on. I have a game of tag to win!

~~~~1 hour later~~~~
We are all laying on the grass worn out. Well I am at least. After about an hour of playing tag. Collin and I won, so now the boys have to pay for the parts, so I can fix my car.  Muhahaha. Cue evil revolving chair scene. With the fluffy white cat. We got up and zombie walked to the kitchen, we had been running around in the forest, so we were covered in mud, grass, sticks and leaves. Once we reached the kitchen, we came face to face with Trish and Hunter Slade. Axel was standing in the doorway, leaning against the wall. Who all bursted out laughing, the second they saw us. We started laughing to, then we heard the front door shut. Willow then strolled into the kitchen, with a massive frown on her face. Which instantaneously became a gigantic smile, as soon as she saw me. She pulled me into a large hug. She began talking about anything and everything, without delay. When suddenly she was disrupted, by Trish who spoke to Axel " don't you have something important to discuss with Nina? Axel dear." Axel stared at his mother then sighed "I suppose I do. If that's okay with you?" I nodded but I grabbed my phone out and typed "Do you mind if I have a shower first?" Trish answered before Axel had a chance "of course dear use the bathroom in the bedroom upstairs. Top floor first door on the right. Axel gave his mother a look, his mother ignored it by looking at me with a knowing smile on her face. What is that about? I simply decided to pretend I noticed it, so I nodded then looked at Willow 'can I borrow some clothes?' Willow squealed with joy, yelling "of course, of course, of course!" Again and again, before running upstairs. We stood there unable to move until Hunter said "well she's definitely high spirited. Which is, a good thing... I think." We all began exploding with laughter, while Axel said "that describes Willow perfectly." Which just made us laugh harder. Once the laughter stopped Trish urged me to go for a shower. I went upstairs and followed the directions she gave me. I entered the room and recognised it immediately, it was Axel's. Why would she send me to this room? That damn smile! Is she trying to set me up with her son!? No that that sounds bad or anything. Were in the hell did that come from? I shut down that thought and any other ones like it right away. Nope! Not going anywhere near that road. I got into the shower and stayed there for about 20 minutes. I got out and got dressed into the outfit Willow gave me. I looked in the bathroom mirror, the outfit consisted of, pale blue skinny jeans with rips, a black sleeveless shirt with 'normal is boring' written on it, and red plaited converse. I was pleased she didn't go overboard. I opened the door and walked into the room, only to come face to face with Axel. Well at least I don't have to go find him I thought. I went over and sat down cross legged, next to Axel on the bed. We sat there for a few minutes, unmoving. Then I decided to break the silence with the sound of my phone's keyboard. I wrote "what was it you needed to talk to me about?" Axel read what I wrote and took in a deep breath before proceeding to talk. "Well you know I'm a werewolf right?" I nodded and he continued "Well, before I get into more detail about, umm what I need to talk to you about, I wanna apologise for what happened at school, I was just annoyed and I'm sorry if I upset you." I smiled and nodded, then I patted his head, telling him it's okay, plus I really wanted to mess up his hair. It was softer then I thought it would be huh. It's so fluffy! I'm curious if it's always this soft. I wonder what it would feel like to run my fingers through is hair while kissing him. Wait stop! Don't think like that! Okay my thoughts are beginning to freak me out. So I'm gonna ignore them. Axel smiled and shook his head, but didn't stop me from messing with his hair. After a few more minutes I kinda got bored of messing with it, so I went back to paying attention. Axel then returned to talking. "Nina the thing I need to talk to you about is something to do with werewolves." Axel looked at me to make sure I was paying attention, so I nodded telling him continue. " Nina do you believe in soulmates?" I shrugged and he proceeded to talk "well us werewolves have exactly that. A soulmate but, to us they are known as mates. They were created to help balance out a wolfs violent and possessive nature by the moon goddess." He glanced at me to check to see if I understood and I once again nodded. "As you already know I'm a werewolf but, I'm not just any werewolf. I'm the alpha or leader of my pack, making my need for a mate extremely important. A mate to an alpha is called a Luna or female alpha. A Luna helps run the pack and has a deep emotional connection to them, which she uses to help them when needed. Which is why they are super important, not just a Luna but any mate. They keep balance and a mate will have unconditional love, respect and understanding. But they will also do anything and everything for them to be happy and safe." He turned around and looked at me straight in the eyes and said "do you understand?" I nodded. But, typed on my phone a question, that had been bothering me the entire time he spoke. "I do understand. But, what does that have to do with me?" Axel took another deep breath. Then stared intensely into my eyes. My breath hitched in my throat. Then he spoke "I found my mate a few days ago. She was the most stunning thing I had ever seen." He stopped speaking and gazed into space, like he was daydreaming. He had a look of love, bliss and tenderness, when he spoke of her. Which is pissing me off, yet making me want to cry at the same time. He looked at me and started talking again. "She was amazing, sitting there in the classroom with the sun hitting her gorgeous face. And as soon as I saw her eyes, I knew she was my mate, this wonderful little human was my mate. However, no matter how hard I tried this amazing girl, with silky deep, dark read hair and two different eye colours, and a body that could kill, wouldn't talk to me and it was frustrating me. However, I later learned that she wasn't ignoring me, she couldn't actually talk to me." I looked at him in awe and also confusion. He took another breath, this one was more shaky then the others. Then he spoke, while staring directly into my eyes. "Nina, My mate is a fanatic, stunning, gorgeous, amazing, wonderful. Nina, my mate is you." I went wide eyed, meanwhile he's smiling like a frickin psycho. Idiot. What the hell does he mean I'm his mate? Axel placed my hands in his and I instantly felt sparks flooding them. He moved one of his hands to my cheek and caressed it gently, as he spoke "Nina, I know this must be difficult for you to understand. But, I ask that you at least give me a chance. So Nina Odin, will you please try and have a chance with me. My adorable muted mate." The next thing I know I fainted.
