"Pitch! Stop This!" Jack yelled. Jack was staring Pitch down while he was strangling Bunnymund. Bunnymund was trying his best to escape Pitch's hand but his grip was to strong him. "You're not gonna win this." The white haired spirit roared. Pitch just smiled sinisterly before breaking the bones in the Guardian of Hope's neck. Jack's eyes widened as Pitch let go of the Easter Bunny's neck and left him lifeless on the ground. Jack felt anger rile up inside and his staff charging with the energy and transferring into ice. Jack let out a cry of his frustration and aimed his staff at Pitch. The ice sparks increased size and finally released into a powerful spark that kicked Pitch down a bit but he regained his balance and counterattacked the ice with his dark sand. "Stop fighting it,Frost." Pitch shouted through the collision of ice and dark sand.

Jack continued his ice sparks not letting go of his staff as his rage grew, wanting to avenge the death of his friends. Pitch grinned and as he saw one of his Nightmares bite Jack's shoulder letting it's sharp teeth sink into the cold, pale skin running dark sand inside him. Jack cried out in pain causing him to drop his staff. Pitch stopped his sand and nodded looking at the boy on his knees screaming in pain.

"Stop fighting it!" Pitch laughed maniacally. "This will just make you stronger." Jack never stopped screaming as his snow white hair slowly turned black as the night. His skin darkened into a gray color that almost matched Pitch's. The boogeyman clapped excitingly. "Oh! This is my favorite part!" He cheered. Jack's screaming turned into low grunts as a massive amount of pain grew all around him. "Look at me,Jack!" Pitch demanded. Jack would have refused but for some reason Pitch's demands messed with his mind and caused to snap his head up to Pitch. Jack's eyes were loosing it's piercing blue color and being replaced with a gold color that had specks of black in it. "Yes." Ptich smiled and caressed Jack's cold cheek. Jack's eyes closed as he lost all feeling in his body causing him to fall to the ground. "That's much better." He laughed softly before looking at the Nightmare who bit Jack. "Take him back home." He commanded as he picked up the nightmare boy and throwing him on top of the Nightmare's back. "Let him rest before I give him his deeds to do." The Nightmare nodded and ran off to Pitch's home.

Pitch stared at the ground. Remainings of the battle between Good and Evil were everywhere. The sky turned dark as a grin stretched across his face. He broke out into soft chuckles that were slowly crescendoing. "Finally!" He said between his maniacal chuckles. "I finally won." He finished and kicked the dead bodies of mythical creatures. Then stopping in front of a the St. Nicholas North himself. The big intimidating man was now on the ground lifeless with blood all over his face. "Better luck next time,Nicholas." Pitch smiled casually. "Oh but a jolly good day for me."

The boogeyman skipped around the bloody scene almost forgetting that his nightmares stood there waiting for his next command. Pitch nodded and walked up to the next nightmare. "The battle is done. We have won and now this world is our. Feed my,nightmares." Pitch demanded. "I expect everyone in this world to tremble in fear and know who I am." He laughed as the nightmares screeched with joy and ran off into the black night. Pitch could already hear the screams of humans that brought happiness to him.

"Pitch!"

He then noticed a glowing light from above. His head looked up and his eyes narrowed. "This is now my world,Manny." Pitch then smirked. "It must be painful to watch and know you can't do anything, huh?" The moon stayed silent.

"Well a damn shame for you. And wonderful day for me!"

The dark man continued his celebration and walked away from the dead battle scene.

Ever since that day it seemed like each day on Earth got worse. Screams and cries echoed through the land. The sun never seemed to shine much. There was so little hope. There were hardly any good dreams. There was no more thinking back on old memories. There was no wondering around. And there was definitely no fun. At least not for the innocent. But the surprise was that there were still innocent people surviving the cruel era. These people were fighting off the darkness that ruled the world and hiding until the day they would find out how to end it. These people were the rebels. And they are fighting for their world back. No matter what it took.
