Dear Hayes Grier
Let me tell you about this girl that meant the world to me, and still does. Her name was Daphne, she had beautiful long red hair, had the most beautiful blue eyes like yours, and had a gorgeous personality.

I had a dream bout a burning house

But on Augest 2, 2015 at 10:00 pm,

You were stuck inside I couldn't get you out

She was driving with her dad, her little brother, her little sister, and her dog. While they were driving, a car rear ended them and their car spun around and hit a guard rail on a bridge and she hit her head on the window and passed away moments later at the scene. The reason I'm writing this, is because she was like a sister to me, and still is, she's just flying and is in my heart. When I found out, I was at my grandparents house and no one was home, so I fell to my knees and cried my eyesout, praying for God to take me. When I got home, I cried myself to sleep and stayed in bed for days. I fell into depression and cried myself to sleep every night and day, dreaming of her being here, alive, breathing, laughing, smiling, and talking about you. You meant the world to her, and nothing could change that, she was determined to meet you one day. But all that changed when that car accident happened. Before she got in the accident she texted me saying that she was in love. I asked who and she said she was in love with you, that you helped her to stop cutting and learn to smile more. I remember the day I found out. I was at my grandparents house on a Friday, they were gone to church for a meeting. I was on my iPad when my friend Kelsie texted me, she said she was trying to call me and I told her I didn't have my phone and told her to text it to me. So, she texted it to me, she kept saying Daphne's name over and over again. I asked her what happened to Daphne, and that's when she told me. I told her this better not be a joke. She said it wasn't, and that's when the news came on and they mentioned Daphne's name. I dropped everything and ran into the living room where the tv was. I saw the car accident, Daphne, an ambulance, police cars, and the news spokeswoman. I turned the volume up so loud I swear it made the house shake.

On a Thursday night in Gaffney South Carolina, a car was rear ended and spun around and hit the side of a guard rail. Three people were in the car including a dog. A father, and three kids, but only two children made it out alive. Young twelve year old Daphne Abigail Fowler died at the accident. The young girl hit her head on the window on the drivers side in the back seat, and died minutes after.

I fell to my knees, shaking, crying, not breathing right. I then realized I was having another Anxiety attack, but just sat there. I was praying for God to take me, praying that this is a dream, that she's still here and alive, and that this is a nightmare. But I realized, this is a nightmare, but this nightmare has a name, reality. She was really gone, she wasn't here anymore, who's gonna make my day a thousand times better when I see that smile and hear that laugh. I got home and cried myself to sleep for the whole month. I couldn't live without her. And that's what it felt like, I didn't realize how the world was until Daphne's death fell at my feet. Till the whole world fell at my feet. After her death, I started to self harm, my friend got cancer, and another one of my friends killed herself, and it all went downhill from there. So Hayes, if you ever read this, just know how much she loved you and still does, she would be so happy seeing you've accomplished so much since her death. You've been on Dancing With The Stars, your going on tour, your saving fans lives every single day. She would be happy Hayes, I know she would. Because this girl named Daphne, literally loved you till the end of her days. Hayes, if you do see this, please give me a sign you did, a comment, a vote, anything, it would let me know that you know about her, and that you care for her. She loves you Hayes, and so do I.

With love for you forever and always,
Grace
