SYDNEY woke up to see the sun shining. She was surprised, she didn't get a nightmare. Instead, it was just a peaceful dream. With Michael in it.She would usually wake up at midnight, after a horrible nightmare and sleep again and the nightmare would just continue. But this time, there was no nightmare, there was just Michael with his arms around her, making her feel safe and at home.
She feels his warm embrace, and snuggles closer. His cuddles were her favorite thing in the world.
"Goodmorning, Syd." Michael groggily greets and Sydney chuckles softly, and she turns around to face him, their faces inches apart.
"Michael... for the first time in eight years, I didn't get a nightmare." Sydney feels an overwhelming feeling in her heart.
"That's great. Why?" Michael asks, completely clueless.
"You. Because you were there with me." She feels happy tears stream down her face as Michael smiles and wipes her tears.
"Don't cry, Syd. If that's the case, then I'll always be here, I promise. Therapy really helped, huh?" He says, leaving her confused.
"Therapy didn't fix me. You did." She tells him.
"But therapy brought us together." He told her and she rolled her eyes.
"Yeah. I love you." She smiles.
"What! This can't be, my pride and dignity flew out the window!" He whined.
"Why?"
"The girl I love confessed to me first. Goddamit." He says and she giggles.
"Don't worry, Mike. It's okay. The girl you love doesn't care if she said it first. It's the thought that counts." Sydney smiles and he smiles back, wrapping his arms around her.
"I love you, Syd."
"I love you, too.

"Mum, I'm home." Michael enters the house to see his Mum in the kitchen.
"Hey, Mike. So, who's the friend that you went to?" His mum asks.
"Um. Sydney." He told her.
"A girl? Did you do anything to her?" His mum asks again and he rolls his eyes.
"Mum! No, I wouldn't do anything to her, never. She's too important." He says, making his mom smile.
"You're in love, huh?" His mum asks with a smile and he blushes, nodding shyly.
"She makes me feel happy." He softly says.
"Well, go and have a date with her. Gooooo!" His mum pushed him up to his room.
He was surprised, but he smiled. His mum hasn't even met her yet but it seems like she wants him to be with her.
Michael got in his room and took a shower, changing into a black band tee, a hoodie, black skinny jeans, his vans, and a grey beanie. ((a/n look at the pic at the top))
Michael called Sydney (they exchanged numbers before he left). And waited nervously for her to answer.
[Hey, Mikey, what's up?]
"Syd, um, do you want to go on a date with me? I can pick you up at your apartment and take you somewhere, if you want?"
[S-sure. That'd be cool with me, I'm actually dressed up right now. You can pick me up]
"Be there in ten."

"Hey, Mike." Sydney greets once she sees Michael.
