Chapter 4 Halloween

I texted Jess and asked her is Sarah going. (We will learn more about her later). She's my best friend and we do everything together. Jess brought her costume and so did Sarah they went in the same car to my house so we could chill. We hung out for about an hour until we started to get ready. Sarah had a Minnie Mouse costume and I had just a plain white skirt a black crop top and black heals. We did our makeup and then we drove to Leah's house. "Hmm I wonder where Bryce is going Katherine."said Sarah. "Will you shut up about Bryce." I said. They tried not to laugh but they giggled. When we got to the party we just sat on the couch because we didn't know anyone there. In about 20 min so many people filled up the room, we had to go to a different one. We didn't even realize what's was going on because we were on our phones. We saw Lexi and Leah and Meghan. Oh my god do I hate them. They are such sluts it's not even funny. This bitch has absolutely no clothes on. She's not naked but let's just say her ass was hanging out. She was wearing a bunny costume (it was like a leotard) and white and pink bunny ears. She was also wearing no tights so she was bare. She was wearing white pumps and was all over everyone. Lexi was wearing a pink crop top white shorts and white wedges that were 8 inches. They are all blondes , thin and tone and every girl wishes to be them. "Hey Jess Bryce is here." Sarah said. "Yeah of course he is he's hot, new and they perfect boy to ravel in for Leah." Jess said. Hunter came over and said "wow the hell is her problem." "She's always a bitch to everyone." She told him. "Well babe just don't listen to her cuz all I see is you and your beautiful. Don't let the jealous people get in your way." Said Hunter. She sighed and hugged him. "OMG I think Jess likes hunter And Hunter likes her back!!!!" Yelled Sarah. "Their v cute." I said. "Wanna go out sometime." Hunter asked Jess nervously. "Yeah, that would be amazing." "Ok well just tell me where you live and I'll pick you up tomorrow night at 8:00." "Okay." Jess said And smiled. He kissed her on the forehead softly and walked away. She walked over to us and said "BITCH I GOT ONE OF THEM. WHOOOO WHOOO IVE NEVER SEEN HIM BEFORE AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHO HE IS BUT HES SMOKING." She yelled. "Y'all gonna be the cutest ahhhh." Said Sarah. I nodded and smiled. Lexi came over said started screaming at Jess. "Yeah no this ain't gonna work. I like Hunter and he likes me back so you better lay off him because he's mine." She looked at her dead in the eye. "Too bad he already asked me out... But better luck next time!" Jess said And winked at her. Jess started to turn when Lexi grabbed Jess and pulled Jess in her face. I immediately grabbed Lexis arm really hard and dig my nails into her skin. Then I pushed Jess out of the way still holding on to Lexi looking angry. "Listen here Lexi. If you ever lay a hand on Jess again, you'll never know what hit you." I told her that in her face up close and personal. I let go of her and then she opened her big mouth and said "really what's gonna hit me." She said like I was gonna stutter and give up. "My fist then the floor." I said with a smirk. She was rubbing her wrist and I said "wimp." And walked away with Sarah but I don't know where Jess went. "Where's Jess." "The perfect distraction." I saw Hunter run out the front door after him was Bryce and mark. We ran with him too. We saw Leah behind the car. Hunter ran up to her and yelled "WHERE IS SHE." "I don't know Meghan, where is she." Leah said. Then Meghan came. She said nothing and behind her was Jess. On the ground. I ran for my life and so did Sarah. She had bruises all over her face and scratches on her arms. Me and Sarah started to cry. Hunter got so pissed he stood up and said "you are the worst person in the world. I wish I never came here to see your fucked up face. I hate you and I hope you go to hell where you Will burn." "This is what she got for taking you away from Lexi."said Leah. "I never LIKED LEXI. AND I NEVER WILL. We told the police offers everything we could. The ambulance took Jess a way with Hunter in it. I called her mom and told her what happened. She Thanked me. After that, Jess and Sarah were supposed to sleep over my house but after what happened she wanted to go home. Then there were three. Mark was staying over Bryce's house and so was Hunter but obviously Hunter went in the ambulance with Jess. "I'll take you home." Bryce said to me. "No it's OK i'll just call my mom to pick me up." "no I'm gonna drive you home." He demanded. I kindly agreed because he wanted to drive me home badly. We got In the car and Mrs. Hall was there. "Are you the girl that lives next-door to us?" She asked. "Yeah I am Katherine nice to meet you." "Nice to meet you too Katherine." Said Mrs. Hall. We were silent for the rest of the ride home. When we got home he drop me off but he got out of the car with me. He walked to my doorstep and said "I'm really sorry about what happened to your friend." "It's ok, i'm going to end up visiting her tomorrow." I said. "All right then." He kissed me on the cheek and said goodnight. I ran up to my room and laid on my bed starring up. I was smiling but I was also thinking about Jess. I ran downstairs and told my mom and my sister that jess is in the hospital. My mom call jesses mom and said that she'll be there for her. I got ready for bed and went to sleep thinking about what happened tonight. Bryce crushing on me Jess in the hospital? I texted Sarah and said me: are you Ok?
