After last bell, I rushed to the football field to meet up with Cora. When I got there , Cora was sitting on the sidewalk alone. I walked up to her and said, " Are you ready to go?" She looked up, smiled, and nodded. I put my hand out to help her up. After she had stood up, I said, "Well, my truck is over there." I pointed to an old 1989 Ford Ranger.

We both got in my old Ford. I started the truck up and listened to it's small roar that it gave, and started out of the parking lot. " So... What is up with that Nick Lincoln boy? Is he always like that towards girls?" I looked over at her. " Nick has always been like that. He thinks it is funny to push around girls." I said. " Well, if he does that again to me or anyone. He won't do it agian. I mean he will absolutly dread seeing me." She said in a fierce tone.

We pulled onto a backroad. Cora's eyes widened at the beautiful scenery on the old back road leading to my family's farm. "This is such a beautiful sight. I didn't even know this road had existed. " Cora said with her eyes still widened.

As we had pulled up to where I normally park my truck, I turned off my truck , got out, and went over to the passenger side of the truck to let Cora out. She got out of truck, and turned to my house. We walked together, I noticed that Cora kept glance at me smiling. I noticed that no one else was home, so, I asked, " Hey, Cora, my parents or siblings are not home yet. So, I was wondering, do you want to go to the barn and hang out there?" Cora nodded, started running to the barn, and shouted, "Beat you there!!!! Slow Poke!!!!" I let out a chuckle and took off after her.
