-15- No Longer Felt Safe

Niall's POV
"Hey Niall! Thanks again for a great night on Friday! We should do it again sometime ☺️ What are you doing tomorrow night?"
I woke up the next morning to this text from Ashley. I am so not in the mood for her.
I made the mistake of mentioning the text to my mom, and the rest of the day I was bothered with "you know, Niall, Ashley is a really sweet girl, you should really consider going out more with her..." and other things like that. So by the end of the day, I answered Ashley's text with a 'sure lets go out tomorrow'
All through the day, my thoughts kept going back to y/n. I just really hoped she was okay.

"Hey Niall?" My mom called from the other room.
"Yeah?"
"Will you please run Mrs. Johnson house?" I hesitated, it was all the way across town. Then again I'm not doing anything else today...
"Okay sure" I said.

I was driving away from Mrs Johnson's house and was hungery, so naturally I stopped at a little bakery.

"Seriously?" Y/n said as she looked saw Niall walking into the bakery. He looked over suddenly, and y/n got all nervous. She got her stuff and started to leave. Niall looked like he was going to say something as she passed him on her way out, but the bakery suddenly got really busy and it was his turn to order. They said a quick hi-bye, and y/n left.
She was walking down the street, but she heard someone behind her. She turned to see Niall. "Hey wait up!" He called out. Y/n turned back around, but he caught up to her and said:
"Y/n, I need to talk to you" Niall said he looked at her face and noticed she looked hurt and a little upset. "Are you okay?" He asked.
"I'm just confused..." Y/n said. "I thought you called me & said I should just leave you alone because of your- never mind." Niall was confused.
"What I never said that." Niall said gently. Y/n was looking at her phone. She had just received a text from an unknown number that said: "stay away from Niall or else"
Followed by another one that said: "look out". Niall could see she was getting nervous. "Y/n what's going on?"
"I have to go. Bye Niall" y/n said walking away hurriedly. As she walked away, she no longer felt safe.
