Chapter 24- Getting Acquainted

"Well I think we should introduce our selves to the newbies " Daliah said "I'll go first. Hi I'm Daliah I'm a shapeshifter. I am also Mallorys leader" and they went down the line
"I'm Sam. I'm a fallen angel"
"I'm Ivan and I'm also a shapeshifter "
"I'm Jackson. I am a Shadow Manipulator. And Elliot I am your leader "
"Ok good now you two intoduce yourselves" Daliah said
"Uh Hello I'm Elliot. I am a fire thrower."
"Hi I'm Mallory Rae. I am a mind manipulator" Everyone Sat in silence for a moment.
"Awk.......waaard" Mallory said getting up and grabbing her laptop
"Well now that were all acquainted I'm going to go down to the library. I'm bored Anyone wanna come with?" Daliah asked
"Sure" Ivan said
"Why not?" Jackson said getting up
"No funny business Sam or I will personally here it from Mallory" Daliah directed towards Sam
Ivan, Jackson and Daliah headed down to the library
"You do realize this is not the way to the library right" Ivan said concerned
"Oh I know we aren't going to the library. We're going to the tree house." Daliah explained to Ivan "Its our last night we will get without those kids why not enjoy it?"
"I'm in " Jackson said
"Well this is were I bail" Ivan said walking back to the dorm waving.
" Well I guess it's just you and me" Daliah said "And Dakota if she's still there"

The two walked towards the tree house. Daliah slowed to admire the sky. "Pretty isn't it?" Daliah said
"What is" Jackson asked
"The sky" Daliah gazed into the heavens seeing thousands of stars. Daliah walked towards the tree house, which was only a few feet away, when Jackson grabbed her arm
"Why don't we stay out here its pretty the stars are out and I'm Pretty sure that's Dakota I hear up there she'll just get mad at us" Jackson asked Daliah
"Sure why not?" Daliah said walking over to a fallen tree and sitting on it gazing at the stars.
"Hey I have a question" Jackson said sitting next to Daliah " Why did You want to come to this place?"
"Well I lived in this really small town where everyone was way too Frikin nice."
"Sounds like hell"
"Yeah it was and to make it worse my parents were even nicer and so were my sisters. I heard about this place and it was an escape" Daliah kept rambling on. The two went back and forth talking almost all night until Dakota stumbled out of the tree house. The two ducked behind the log they were sitting on
"Wanna go up to the tree house now?" Daliah whispered as Dakota walked back
"Sure"
They climbed the latter to the tree house.
"Wow its 3:30 we've been talking all night" Daliah said turning on the tv. She put on a movie and Sat next to Jackson on the couch. Eventually half way through the movie Daliah fell asleep on Jackson.
