Sorry I haven't been updating. I got a new videogame :Y

Your house wasn't too far away from Hiro's. You shivered as a chilly breeze delicately brushed against your face. It was quite refreshing! You were slightly nervous to see the old house. What if you just broke into tears all of a sudden? You smiled to yourself. You certainly hoped not! That would be embarassing. Ashi lead the way to your home, as you and Hiro were following along closely.

Hiro suddenly tapped you on the shoulder. You looked at him inquisitively, slightly tilting your head (adorably). He smiled and gave Ashi a flat-tire. Ashi looked around, for a split second, annoyance swimming in his eyes. Both you and Hiro had semi straight faces. Ashi rolled his eyes and continued on his way. Hiro once again gave him a flat-tire, almost erupting into laughter, as Ashi whipped around, nostrils flaring, like a wild bull.

You couldn't hold in your laughter; you burst out laughing. "Ashi, you look so silly when you're mad!" You commented, finger shakingly pointing at him. Ashi's face softened, and exhaled his anger, rolling his eyes. "Whatever." He said, and continued on his way. Hiro was about to give him another flat-tire when you stopped him, touching his shoulder. (Dang, that's a fine shoulder...) "Give him a break." You effortlessly whispered. Hiro guiltily smiled and shrugged, and ceased his actions.

You all finally arrived at your old house. All that was left of it was... Ashes. And old, rotting deteriorated wood. Sure, you haven't lived at that house for that long, but it was a good house. You got really nostalgic remembering when you first moved in. (I got really nostalgic remembering when I first started this story.) A frown tugged at the corners of your lips, eyes scanning the site. Ashi cleared his throat, speaking up.

"Well, here we are. It's time to work! Hiro," Ashi looked at Hiro, then to the far left of the broken up pile of wood that you used to call a "house". "I want you to search for any evidence of life over there." Hiro nodded and walked off. You started after him, until Ashi grabbed you by the collar. You shivered; his hand brushed against the back of your hair. (Or, if your hair is too short, the back of your neck.) His hands were very cold. (Cold hands = warm heart? Haha.)

"(Y/N), you're going to search over there." He pointed to the far right of the house. You furrowed your eyebrows. "What're you going to do, then, Ashi?" You said, hand glazing over the smooth pendant of your necklace. "I'm going to free roam search, and supervise the both of you." Hiro's ears twitched (like a kitty!), overhearing the conversation. "What? We're 14! We don't need you as a chaperone!" He complained. "I'm 16, and much more mature than the both of you." However, he tossed a sincere look to you. He just wanted you safe, and away from Hiro.

...Ew. You pouted angrily, and walked to your area. Well, shite! If Ashi is supervising you two, you can't do the prank! Your college-molded brain began to crank out possible ideas, while sifting around the outskirts of house debris. Well, Hiro has the backpack... All you needed to do is distract Ashi! Which won't be hard, because Ashi seemed attracted to you. Huh, so that was going to actually come in handy!

...But, how? Your knees hurt, kneeling against the ground. Oh- Ashi was walking over to you! Might as well distract him right now! You nervously looked over to Hiro, and then the bag. You made tiny hand signals, desperately trying to communicate with him. You made a motion that resembled a flying drone. It was really hard to do, while acting casual, and Ashi walking towards you. "Have you found anything good?" He inquired. "Uhhh...." You droned, racking your brain for an appropriate response.

Ashi rolled his eyes, and sighed. "I'll take that as a no." He began to turn around, your eyes widened in alarm. Hiro was just bringing the drone out along with its controller. You tugged on Ashi's pant leg urgently, preventing him from fully turning around. "Wait!" You cried, other hand groping the nearest object. Ashi looked at you, raising his eyebrows. "Yes?" He asked. You showed him the piece of wood, making a small white lie. "Uh, I think I see a language like thing on this piece of wood! The person might've dropped it!" You said, trying to stall as long as possible. Ashi's eyes intelligently scanned the wood, and hummed a disapproving sound. He turned around, as the drone took flight. No--! It's not high enough yet! Agh-- Think, (Y/N), think!

You swiftly placed the piece of wood under his foot, and Ashi tripped, wordlessly. It was sort of majestic how he tripped; elegant, if you will. (If tripping can be elegant.) Hiro had an amused spark in his eye, trying not to laugh, as he looked you in the eyes. Success! (Humiliating Ashi was a nice bonus for Hiro.) You fakely gasped. "Ashi! I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" You said, leaning close to him in a caring manner. The happy light in Hiro's eyes extinguished when you got close to Ashi, but he shook it away. You helped Ashi up, patting him on the back. Ashi turned around, leaving to inspect Hiro, until he let out a girly scream. "AAH- GHOST!" He wailed, until he realized it was simply a mere flying drone draped in white bedsheets.

You and Hiro collapsed laughing. Ashi sounded super stupid.

What a total teamwork win.

My fingers are FREEZING. Also, sorry for the late update. I've gotten Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Super Mystery Dungeon, and it was AWESOME. I love pokemon so much. Anyway, um... Yeah.
