ARIEL POV
It have been exactly a week of dating Cameron. We went so many places. He even drove me out of town on a really early morning to go picnic like in the middle of no where. I was falling for him. Today, I ended up telling how much I loved him when he picked me up very early the morning to go school. At lunch, he comes with me to the library but end of making me laugh and get kicked out. For my job, I am the best worker of the week, everything going find and I got a week of vacation coming. I started to get used to Annie and Frany around and Jane have started to date a surfer guy she had met.
I was in English class with Cameron and Jane.
"For the rest of the period, you will be in teams of four to make a review of a book that I will assign. Different book per team. While you work on that review, I would like to receive a written modern version of the book assigned next course also with the review for the slow workers. I have some Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Douglas Adams and last and not least Virgnia Woolf, my personal favorite." She said. I looked at Cameron. I really wanted to work with him. He was so fun to date but I wanted to know how he could be smart. We got togheter and paired with Jane and Alex, one of Cam's friend.
"I'm ready for any book!" I said excited. The teacher came close.
"hmmm... what about Hamlet? No Macbeth! I have to give you guys Shakespeare!" The teacher said looking threw the names of books.
"Romeo and Juliet! I want a review on that! I want a good one not one that a Freshman could make! I count on you guys!" She smiled and walked away.
"I hate the hippy teacher!" Jane said mocking the way she walks
"She's not hat bad!" Alex said to her.
"She just assigned us to read a book in one night and write a review of it and a modern version! She's crazy also for next class. Oh I just realized it's tomorrow friday!" Jane said rudely to Alex.
"Calm down cool cat!" I said to her.
"We are doing this as a team! And as a team we should work togheter! What about we do a review together tonight and for the modern version we seperate the work like for different acts!" Cameron suggested
"That's smart! There is 5 act. Since, the first act is short someone could right act 5 with it." I added
"But we have to get a main idea! I would want a texte that makes sense!" Cameron said after
"Yep right? I'm up for doing act 1&5 but what's the main idea?" I asked
Alex and Jane looked at me and Cam a strange.
"What?" I said
"Nerds!" Alex yelled and we all laughed. The teacher came to us and told us to work because of all the noise we were making.
"Okay! Let's work this out this afternoon at?" Jane said
"My house! I actually wanted to bring Ariel to my house!" Cameron said and I blushed. Did I mention he haven't ask me to be his girlfriend yet.
"Okay!" I smiled and Alex and Jane just shrug there shoulders.
The bell rang and we all went to our lockers.
"See you after! I have to do something before!" Alex said
Jane went to see her boyfriend.
"Well it's just us for now!" Cameron said. I hugged him and we went to his car. We drove to his house. It was a big house just like mine but with less neighbors then me. He walked in and they were a dog that came.
"That's Jake!" Cameron said. I pet the dog before a woman came to us.
"Ariel?" The woman asked
"Yes!" I answered
"I'm Gina! Cam's mom, he talks about you a lot!" She said with a small voice. I hugged her.
"Okay we are going to get set in the living room!" Cam added and her mom left us.
"Want to watch something before we go and work our butts off!" Cameron asked when I laid on the couch by him.
"You talked about me to your mom!" I said cheering a little.
"She told you that?" He asked like embarassed
"Cute!" I said in a really baby voice hugging him.
"You're the cute one!" Cameron laughed and gave me a small peck on my nose.
We talked when the doorbell rang and we answered the door. Alex and Jane were there. We worked on our project till 8pm. Alex left and Jane left after. It was just me and Cam.
"I would want you to stay over?" Cameron said when I was packing my school bag to get back home
"My mom probably won't let me." I said to him.
"Can I drive you back home?" He asked tired
"If you want that much!" I said sarcastically.
"Let's go!"
I went to say bye to her mom and jake. I walked out the door. He drove me back home. When we got there he locked the doors.
"I just thought of that at this second thinking about our project! Do you want to be my juliet, my girlfriend?" Cameron said. He was tired.
"That was cheesy with the Juliet thing but yeah!" I smiled and kissed him before exiting the car, btw he unlocked it.
I was back home and I just found my mom on a computer with my dad. I walk to them.
"You're really happy to date him?" My dad said and he turned the screen. They were a bunch of pages of Cameron.
"What's that?" I asked
"You didn't know he was kind of famous because of social media? You were like under a rock?" My mom said like if she was a teen.
"What are you talking about?" I said starting to get confused
"You don't use social media?" My dad asked
"It's not obvious when you are bullied!" I said but I covered my mouth quickly. Did I just tell them.
"Bullied? My little smoothie!" My dad said shocked
"Whatever it's fine now!" I said to him.
"Fine never fine! Since when?" My mom asked
"Why do you care it's over!" I said. I was tensing up.
"Ariel! You haven't talked about this with us?" My mom started to scream
"Yep!" My dad added
"It's all because, mom cooks super fat stuff for me and that you called me Ariel. And that I has red hair!" I said madly at them
"The red hair was your choice don't blame it on us! And not our fault you used to eat like a pig!" My dad said. I heard Gaby starting to cry. I was tearing up.
"look what you've done!" My mom blamed me and was about to go to get Gaby.
"I hate you!" I screamed really loudly. I think all the neighbors could hear. I ran to my room. All the actions came throught my mind. Every thing that just happened and some of the bully memories. The next second everything was black. I felt to the floor.
