I sat on the bed bored out of my mind. I really wish I'd gotten a room with windows. I got up and walked around inspecting the furniture. My hands waved over the beautiful dresser. Then I walked to the ancient book shelf and pulled out one of the small, brown looking books. It's title was 'Bloodlines' I skimmed through the books and stopped at a certain page. It's contents were ' All vampires have unique gifts, some more than others. Vampires of the royal bloodline possess many. Some examples are - mind reading, emotional sense, the ability to heal. And of course all vampires can hear heartbeats.

'What do you think you're doing?'

I jumped, the book falling out of my hands, startled at the familiar unfriendly, deep voice of Alexander. I bent down to retrieve the book as I spoke, my voice emulating heavy sarcasam.

'Dancing  in a field with unicorns and rainbows, What the hell does it look like I'm doing?'

I expected to be yelled at or thrown up against the wall again but he just sighed.

Yep, definitely bipolar.

I turned around and saw him sitting at the edge of the bed, head in his palms.

Maybe I could get some answers now.

I sat across from the bed on the little sofa. And started my babbling. Seems like that was the best way to get all of  my questions across before he stormed out of the room again.

'Okay so you can't erase my mind or whatever bullshit but that's not my fault,I should be allowed to go home. It clearly means there's something wrong with you and not me. I have family at home who's probably going crazy looking for me. And because of this room not having any windows, I can't tell the time of day or night. I don't even know the day right now.'

I sat waiting.

Nothing.

I was fuming now.

'I Need answers.'

'Can you just shut up? 'He spat at me getting up and running his fingers through his hair, messing it making it look  more breathtakingly sexy than before.

I sat, furious and waiting. I was trying my best to contain my anger but he was pushing it.

'Why won't you answer me!' I was yelling at the top of my lungs now, there was only so much a person could take.

He turned around and looked at me, his eyes fixated on mine holding me in an intense glare.

'I don't have to answer to a human.'

It didn't sound as venomous as I expected but it was something. He held our stares. My heart started galloping and everything in me just wanted to reach out to him, to go to him. What the hell was going on with me.

He walked and sat next to me.

'Move to the bed, its night and it's time for you to sleep.'

I scoffed but I got up and lay down on my side with my back facing him. It's weird, after all this time that I haven't gotten hungry by now. I couldn't sleep, not with him right next to me. He's creeping me out.  I sat up.

'I can't sleep...' I said mostly talking to myself.

'Force it, I need to sleep and your heartbeat is giving me a headache.'

' I didn't even know vampires sleep..'

I got off the bed, feeling dirty and disgusted in myself.

"I need to shower and I have no clothes.'

'What the hell does that have to do with me?'

'Well since you're keeping me held captive, its only fair that you provide me with the requirements I need to survive.'

I looked at him, his eyes were closed. I'm sure he was awake but he probably didn't want to entertain the conversation  again. I sighed, laid back down  and let sleep entomb me.

I sat up, rubbing my eyes. I expected to see him still sitting but he was gone. My mind jumped with joy but my heart ached at the absence of his presence. I really needed to get my emotions checked. A stack of neatly folded clothes was placed next to a note on the table. The handwriting was fancy Roman, like its the type to be craved and hung on a masterpiece.

' Shower and come downstairs for breakfast. The door is unlocked. Any attempts to escape and I will lock you in the basement and have guards placed on you 24/7.'

I scoffed. Yeah yeah.
I picked up the clothes, the price tags were still on them. His taste wasn't all that bad. There was a black skinny jeans, a black plain tank top and red bra and panties and a toothbrush. I laughed at the thought of him in wonderful world picking out bra and panties. Then again he is a prince  and he could've gotten people to do his shopping for him. I picked up the clothes and walked into the bathroom, hoping that they fit.

To my surprise, they did. I put my hair into a high ponytail and  opened the door, walking downstairs.

Stepping outside of the room, there was a long hall. The walls were granite with gold glitters. I walked further down. There was a spiral stairs cascading downwards so I followed.  At the bottom of the stairs was the most amazing thing I've ever seen.  A huge chandelier hung on the ceiling, a royal furnished couch. The scene looked like it was straight out from an ancient book.
