Lottie's POV

"Mum, please!" I begged, trying to hold her back. Louis had been gone overnight and she was getting 'worried'. She wanted to go out and see if she could find him. "Just let Louis be free for a day. Is that really so hard? He's a teenager, he isn't always going to follow your rules anymore and you have to get over that. You can't keep beating him when he doesn't do what you want." I snapped . She glared at me and grabbed my wrist, pushing it roughly off of her arm.

"He is my son and he will do what I tell him." Mum said, before walking out the door with my... father. I hated calling them my parents, because I knew what they did to Louis. They thought I was asleep when they tortured him, but I'd simply lay in bed, sobbing and scared that that could be me if I went to help him . I hear his screams... sometimes you can hear the impact of a slap then a small cry, then they get bigger as the cries do as well . They leave him, too. They don't even do anything to see if he's okay. Only leave him, laying wherever they left him, crying, or sometimes passed out. I check on him. Every time. It's mine and Louis' secret. I clean him up and help him get to bed. I'll sing him to sleep, or hold his head in my lap until he falls asleep. Sometimes I don't leave right away when he falls sleep. Sometimes I'll stay and watch him, to make sure he'll be okay when i do leave. He's never okay... he always cries himself to sleep and whimpers from dreams. He'll hold my hand, too. That makes it difficult to leave sometimes. Because even in his sleep, his grip never loosens.

He's so insecure. He tells me that. He says he hates himself. That's a tough word. Hate. Especially to be using it against yourself. He shouldn't hate himself, though. He's really beautiful. And I don't mean that to be creepy, but he really is. I tell him that, sometimes he smiles and says thank you, others he ignores me completely.

I miss my brother. The one that was always smiling no matter what. Happy. Joyful. Just so full of life. Now it's just... bleh.

Anyway, back to the present. I ran after them and got in the car, not wanting them to find him if he was alone because god knows what they could do to him. So on the way there, they're chatting about normal stuff, as if they're not out to pretty much kidnap their own son.

"We're running out of milk. The girls drink a lot of it." Mum said.

"Yeah, maybe s'more cereal, too." Dad said.

I just sighed and looked out the window. "There he is!" I yelled, seeing him but I know they wouldn't. But sadly I was wrong. They had spotted him before they got out of the car and sadly, he was walking alone, staring at the ground as he shuffled his feet across the pavement.

I quickly ran out of the car, wanting to scream for him to run, but of course now is the time where my lungs decide to work for shit and I start to cough. But I hoped I coughed loud enough to catch Louis' attention and he'd run away. He didn't, because when I looked up, he was looking in the opposite direction, his eyes flitting through the alley way.

He eventually did look over, though, his body freezing as he started to back away.

"Louis Tomlinson, get over here right now!" Mum screamed as dad started running at him. I did the same, going after him as fast as I could. But he was also running. Down the alley.

"Louis!" I yelled, pretending to trip and I spread out, causing my dad to trip over my leg. The sickening crack of bone breaking echoed through the dark alley, and I knew instantly from the scream that escaped my lips, it was me.

Louis' POV.

Shit.

They've found me now even miles from home. I'm not sure how, or why they came looking even, but I was caught running away from them.

When I saw Lottie with them, I felt a little bit better, knowing she would try to help me get away.

God, where's Harry when I need him?

Harry.

"Harry!" i screamed at the top of my lungs, turning out of the alleyway. "Harry, I'm sorry, but I really need your help!"

Knowing my odds, he was too far to even hear an echo of my voice, let alone my cries for help. Although, just ten minutes ago, I was the one telling him to leave me alone, so.. I'm guessing that's what he did.

After a few good minutes of running, I figured I was far enough for now and I could stay in the same spot for a while. So I sat down on a large rock in front of someone's house, hoping it was okay, and I leaned over, throwing up my wonderful breakfast onto the sidewalk.

For someone like me to go so long without eating, possibly being a victim of anorexia, and then eating a huge breakfast like I'd had with Harry, then having an adrenaline rush, getting nervous, and running about a mile, it probably wasn't a good combination and therefore, here is the result.

I heard a front door slam, and i looked behind me, seeing an older, yet still young, man walk out, adjusting his robe so it covered everything.

"You alright?" He asked, his voice groggy and thick.

I had no idea who this man was, so I just slowly nodded and stood up. "Yeah, I'm sorry. I'll just be going now."

"No!" The man yelled, and I could hear his slippers running across the concrete. I turned around and sighed. "What?"

"Are you alright?" He asked, reaching up to touch my forehead and I grimaced. "Uh.. yeah, i'm sure i'm fine.." I mumbled and slowly backed away a few steps.

"Well, you don't look fine." He said and crossed his arms, before uncrossing them and holding one out to me. "Bobby."

I took his hand. "Louis.." He nodded and let go.

"Would you like to get a cup of water?" Bobby asked and I shrugged. "Can't hurt." I mumbled and he smiled before leading me inside.

"I'll be right back." He said once the door was closed behind both of us, and he ran off, going down the hall.

Bobby came back minutes later, holding a boy's arm. He looked no older than me, possibly younger. Although when I waved hello and said the words, i got no response.

Bobby looked at me, then at the boy, his hands moving in awkward motions. When he was done, he looked at me.

"Louis, this is Niall, my son. He's deaf."
