Alexandra's POV:
One shot then a another followed by thousands are what fill my thoughts. The thoughts of my fathers death. Thoughts of leaving my home. Thoughts of being killed by them. Them. Them is all I can think about. Them. Them. Them. They fill my dreams my thoughts and the corrupt them. The corrupt everything and every one and that's why they are called corruption. "Alexandra! Come here please" my mother yelled. It sounded urgent but it seems as if everything that's comes out of her mouth is now days.
"Be there in a sec mum!"I yell back. I climbed out of my bed and walked into my bathroom. As I looked in my mirror at my reflection, I didn't see me but a ghost who I was. I splashed my face to wash away the pale girl in front of me. I took my hair and tied my hair up in a high pony. With a that settled I applied a few layers of mascara to my thick eyelashes and left my bathroom picking up my dirty laundry from yesterday and throwing it in the hamper. Quickly I grabbed my black deep v-neck romper with little flowers accustoming it, and threw it on.
Before leaving the room I grab my cell phone and my bag throwing my wallet, cellphone, and charger in there. Then I closed the door and began walking down stairs. The second I hit the kitchen the noise was glass shattering loud. And it was only 2 twin toddlers, Gabriel and Gabriella, and my mother.
As I glanced up I saw my mom chatting away on the phone to probably Anne the woman who my mom apparently went to school with, while doing that I saw her attempting to cook what looks like oatmeal. When I looked over at the table I saw two booster seats with loud babbling toddlers sitting in them.
"Oh finally! Alex your down, please, will you put the place mats down in front of the kids and poor some juice in there sippy cups?"she said tossing me the place mates then pointing to the fridge signaling to get the juice.
I nodded and started walking towards the fridge. While doing so she pulls the phone away from her ear and says thank you before going right back into her conversation on the phone. I quickly pull open the fridge noticing that we are practically out of juice and see that we will need some because those to Little kids only drink Juice and Rarely milk for god knows why. I grab the juice and pour the last of it into the sippy cups which are placed on the counter. Grabbing those, the place mats, and empty juice container I walk slowly over to the table watching the two toddlers argue over which toys were who's. I place the mats down along with the sippy cups. I walk over to the other side of the table and sit in the seat right next to Gabriella's. I place my hands in my lap and fiddle with them while I wait and see if Gavin, Jesse, Zack, John, or Evan call. Those five were my older brothers and the ones who run a big Time British/ American gang in called Anarchy. They are off in London doing businesses there. While the Rest of us (mum, Gabriel, Gabriella, and I) sit here in Orlando Florida waiting for them call us. The reason the actually call is to keep contact and well to let us know they are in fact alive, that way the don't worry us to much.
Our society has no control over the North American continent along with the Eastern continent also know as Asia and Europe basically that area. The police and government are terrified of them leaving no one to stop both of the gangs except each other. Anyone who talked about them in a demeaning way while there around is killed with no hesitation. That's why i tried to keep to my self and stay out of everybody's way because nobody was safe here or anywhere.
"Alex? You ok? You seem out of it... Also your spaghetti is getting cold and you haven't said much this evening.." She says with look of concern.
"Oh sorry just lost in thought I guess..." I trailed off, I looked around to see the twins eating there food happily. I looked down and saw my own food sitting in front of me waiting to be eaten. I smiled briefly and started eating quickly.
I kept to my self while my mother told Gabe to stop smearing spaghetti sauce on the table. I watched my mother in awe. She was a strong woman one who fought many battles. She's an amazing woman, but never hears it really. She always has a permanent smile on her face even when all her sons are gone around the world taking care of business and seeking vengeance on behalf of my fathers name.
I looked down and noticed I had finished. I quickly got up and put my dishes in the dish washer and washed my hands.
"Alex will you clean up the kids whirl I Clean up the kitchen?"
I looked at her and nodded. I started with there faces and worked down to there hands.
"Honey are you gonna go to school or to work? Or anything today?"
"No there's not point anymore no one goes and does anything everyone is basically living the exact same lives as us only this time we have a little bit different cycle mum ." I Said picking up the twins and carrying them to the living room to watch cartoons.
"That's horrible I remember when school was literally your life."
"Same mum same."
"Well if you just gonna stick around now," she says while wiping the counter, "you might as well help me out and get some groceries and coffee while I clean up this place. "
"Of course. Just make me a list of what I need and I'll be on my way."
--------------------10 minutes later after Alex's mum is of me writing the list---
"Here you go, it should only be about 20 dollars so go-ahead and take it out of the bank then go Safeway for those items on the list then go get the coffee at Starbucks ok?"
"Ok mum I'll be back soon."
And with that I was out the door with my bag ,keys, phone, and wallet all in hand.

Hey guys so what do you think? So far to me this is just a filler chapter and the real events happen I the next one. What do you think happens to Alex in the next chapter and when (btw Alex is short for Alexandra, Gabe is short Gabriel, and Gabby will be short for Gabriella) ??
