"(F/n), you have to always stand on the top and losing is not an option. Do you understand?"

"Yes, of course I will, father. I will do anything you say."

"Good girl."

Your father patted your head with a smile on his face. He seemed to be satisified with your childish answer. But that was your conversation with your father years ago. You were the only hope, the only heiress to (S/n) Group, which has stood on the top for few years that time, and your father expected you to be the same.

Since then, your father has been really very strict to you, but you didn't mind. At least, he has his attention on you. Your rarely had time to play with your two close friends―Tsuchiya Yukimitsu, the Tsuchiya Group's heir, and Kusanagi Chinatsu, the Kusanagi Group's heiress. If you ever felt like you couldn't handle it, you would always ran to your mother, asking her to comfort you. But everytime he praised you when you did something very good, your hard work and patience paid off.

"That's my... daughter. Good job, (F/n)."

But one day, when you were eight, everything changed by the existence of your newborn brother, (S/n) Kairi. Your father started to turn his face to Kairi and you were pretty much ignored. A few days after that, you entered your father's office to show him that you got a perfect score for a test. Instead of praising you, he said:

"(F/n), you have worked so hard all these years for the group's sake. I'm happy for that and I'm proud of you. I think you deserve to do anything you wish and I'll always support you. Ah, for example, you are interested to play piano, right?"

Oh my, he is too kind. Heck, too kind to directly spit it out right on your face that he don't need you anymore!

Often, you felt jealous of Kairi when your father played with him and gave him so much attention. Your mother was the only one who still cared for you and spoil you a bit whenever you felt jealous. Unfortunately, that also didn't last long. Your mother passed away three months after that.

You were so sad and came to hate innocent Kairi that he has to take everything from you. Your father never spent his time with you. You don't talk much. You pretty much shut yourself in your room whenever you're home and spent most time playing piano. Still, you always kept being on the top in hope your father would turn his face to you once more but it has never and will never happen.

You never have the intentions to make friends to liven up your days or such. You just sometimes meet up with your Chinatsu and Yukimitsu.

Until one day, you were invited to the most prestigious high school, the Hope's Peak Academy as the SHSL Loner. That's where everything starts to change again.

Well, your father did get a bit angry for his daughter―or rather, someone who has relation to the (S/n) Group―to get the title SHSL Loner and not SHSL Heiress or something. You were ready to attend other famous private school which he chose if he didn't agree. But all he said, was, "If you still want to attend that school, go then. As I said, I will always support your decision."

Honestly speaking, that was quiet disappointing. You thought he was going to smack the principal or something. Or maybe, at least, telling you to go in the school and change the title with everything you could for the sake of (S/n) family. But, no.

They said that the title which was chosen for each students has its own meaning and reason. What could possibly be the reason for SHSL Loner?

Well, it won't hurt to just attend that school, you were invited anyway. Maybe it will be less 'pain-in-the-ass' than other schools. Unfortunately, it's not, everything thanks to a certain blonde guy who you know oh-so-well.
