Adam and Anthony were both happy. They lived together in a nice, suburban home. Adam was usually busy with work and YouTube things, more so than Anthony, but Anthony didn't mind a bit.

"Hey babe. I just finished editing some videos. I'm gonna turn in for the night." Anthony informed his boyfriend, stepping into his office late that night. Adam sighed, wiping the tired from his eyes and flashing his younger boyfriend a smile.

"I wish I could, too. But I was so busy with projects today, that I just need to catch up on my editing." Of course Anthony was sad he didn't get to fall asleep in his lover's arms, but he knew just how busy Adam had been, and he understood completely.

"You know I understand. Just promise me you'll get some sleep tonight, babe?" Anthony pouted, leaning against the doorframe. Adam stood up and snaked his arms around Anthony's waist. The younger male immediately relaxed into his arms.

"I promise. Go get some sleep now. I'll try to finish up quick." He told Anthony. The Italian nodded, giving Adam a quick kiss before turning to leave the room. "Wait!" Adam suddenly stopped him, grabbing his wrist.

"What is it?" Anthony turned around surprised. Adam just smile softly and pulled his lover close, cupping his cheeks and placing a tender kiss on his forehead. Anthony felt the heat rise to his cheeks.

"Thank you, for looking out for me honey." Adam whispered compassionately. He then pecked Anthony's nose, followed by his lips until finally releasing him.

It was moment's like that both the men cherished. Anthony loved those moments because it showed him no matter how busy his boyfriend was, he still tried his hardest to show Anthony he was appreciated and make him feel cared for. Adam loved those moments because it reassured him that no matter how stressful his work became, or how hectic his schedule got, the man he loved still stood by him and supported him every second.

Then there were the lucky nights, the night's both men were utterly content. They were the night's both seemed to finish working early, having the rare occasion to lie in bed awake together before drifting off.

"How did I get so lucky?" Adam found himself mumbling on one of those nights. He and Chilled both finished editing right before bed. Each were happy to have the rare moment of falling asleep together. His boyfriend lay by his side, curled up peacefully to his chest.

"What do you mean?" Anthony whispered in response. Adam smiled, though Anthony couldn't see it. He continued to lightly trace his fingers along his boyfriend's back.

"I know most people want that cliche, big scene proposal. But I just want that perfect moment. Those perfect moments are always these moments. When I'm lying here, with you in my arms. When we aren't worried about work or stressful things. When we enjoy the silence and the feeling of each other's company. I feel so goddamn lucky to have those moments with you, Anthony. You're the only man I want to have these moments with. I love you. I can't say it enough. Will you marry me?" Anthony asked, reaching over and grabbing a small velvet box from his nightstand. He put it in front of Chilled for him to see. Silently, Anthony opened the small box. A small gasp resonated through the room. There was a shiny silver band, with the simple sentence engraved.

'I'm the lucky one.'

"Yes, Adam. I'll marry you. This is perfect. You're perfect." Anthony rambled. He rolled on top of his now fiance, kissing him lovingly. Again, both felt that sense of luck. To be there, to hold each other. To have each other. To love each other.

The wedding day came. The moment arrived. Both men felt that sense of luck yet again as Anthony reached the end of the isle and took Adam's hands. Both had glossy eyes and genuine smiles.

Their friends could see it, too. Just how happy they were with each other. They didn't need money or extravagant things. They simply needed each other. Sure, its a cliche, over used statement. But for these men, it was true. They were the source of each other's happiness.

"I do." Anthony whispered after Adam.

"You may now kiss your husband." Without hesitation, Adam dipped Anthony into a passionate kiss, making the younger man flare up in embarrassment and joy.

When the time came for toasts at the reception, every friend had said a few words about the happily married couple. Just before it was over, Adam stood up and tapped his glass, gaining everyone's attention. He turned to Anthony.

"Anthony, I can't describe how happy I am that we'll finally be spending the rest of our lives together, happily married. I've said it before, I'll say it now, and each night for the rest of my life. In this relationship, I'm the lucky one. I'm blessed with that breathtaking smile of yours, that infectious laugh of yours, and the caring love you provide me to no end. This is the happiness every person searches for in life. I feel lucky to say that I don't have to search anymore. Because I have you. All I need to be happy is the little things that make you, you. I love you so much Anthony." Adam confessed. Anthony was in tears, jumping up to hug his husband tightly. The only thought that crossed Adam's mind as he embraced his one love, surrounded by happy friends and family, was the one question he'd ask himself the rest of his life.

"How did I get so lucky?"
