Ep. Girl Meets Homecoming pt 1

Lucas's POV

My mind keeps going back to the conversation I had with Farkle & Zay back in Texas. I'm ready now I just don't know what my plan is going to be.

"Are you coming to homecoming?" Zay asked Farkle.

"I'm trying to get smackle to agree to coming to ours. Her homecoming is the same night as ours. I don't think I would have fun at hers. " he said honestly

"Zay who are you asking?" I asked

"I asked Leona Watson in my math class. She said yes, the better question is who are you taking? " Zay asked

"We know it's going to be either Riley or Maya.....Taylor White isn't even worthy enough to for the category" Farkle said which he's wrong. I want to ask Riley. Maya I feel in my heart I hold dearly as a sister not in a relationship. Once I found out about about bj Harris liking Maya I knew what I felt for her was right. I just never said anything.

"It's time" Zay said.

"I know what I have to do"I said

Riley's POV

I came home from my other ballet lesson. I showered & changed into my lounge pjs. My mom came in my room. We at my bay window. I laid my head on her shoulder.

"Hows my ballerina doing?"She asked

"I'm great" I said

"You look tired. Are you sleeping in tomorrow?"

"Yes" I said lazily.

"Ok"

"Mom.....homecoming is 2 weeks away........come Monday, Maya is going to be asked by BJ Harrison....he is the most talented artist that is walking the earth........he can draw anything......he hasn't asked yet. But he will & I am afraid Maya will say no......I don't know if she still has feelings for Lucas anymore....we don't talk about it........I have turned down two invitations to homecoming already............it seems like Maya can move on from Lucas...........is it time for me to move on too?"I ask

"Can you move on from him?" My mom questions me back

"He was my first date & first relationship & my favorite person to talk to. I'm not sure " I say

"I know you have feelings for him honey.....it's going to be ok. I think you should not worry about how Maya feels right now. Maya will make her own decision. If you worry about how she feels you won't be aware about how you feel & you will miss a lot of things. Sometimes you have to remember to put yourself first. & remember that it is ok to do that sometimes" she says

"Are you saying continue to be hopeful that he will come around?" I asked

"I'm saying you can enjoy homecoming with all of your friends with or without a date because it all about having fun. If you so choose to have a date make sure you choose to go with someone who you know you will have fun with you. I can guarantee you the next person who will ask you to homecoming might just be the perfect person to go with. You never know. But just remember to have fun. I don't want you to stress yourself over it ok?" My mom says

"Ok......thank you mom"I said then hugging her.

"Let's get you into bed, "

Lucas's POV

I was nervous to do this all over again but I want to do this right.

"Lucas....what brings you here?" Mr.matthews asks after opening the door once I knocked on it.

"I have to talk to you sir" I said

"Oh no.....not this again not today chachee" mr.matthew cries & walks away. I come inside & shut the door.

"Hey Lucas" josh Riley's uncle & Auggie says

"Hey guys" I said back to them.

"Lucas, have you even figured out what's going on with ya? Ever since Texas everything has gone wrong....now you come to me like this?" Mr.Matthews said. He's right but this time it's different

"Yes your right. But now is the right time. I have messed up before & I want to do this the right way. I want to give Riley what she deserves" I said

"So you pick my daughter over Maya?" He questions

"I would never" I said

"But yet you did" he argues

"It wasn't a choice. You can't make a decision on anything if it wasn't a choice to begin with." I argue back

"What are you saying?" He asked

"Riley has always been the one sir.......I would really love it if I had your blessing to ask her" I said. I'm now nervous because he went silent.

"..................ok"

"I have your blessing sir?"

"Yes, Lucas I trust you to do the right thing......I know you will do right by her.......don't let her down this time or I won't keep blessing you... Kapesh?"

"Thank you sir you won't regret it. I promise" I said
