Sam's POV-

Ashleigh. The person controlling my mind. I can't think about anything else. That kiss was...perfect. Louis is an idiot, he had the chance to have Ashleigh and ruined that by kissing some girl that doesn't even compare to Ashleigh.

I was on my way to Ally's home. I need to talk to her.

"Oh, Hi Sam!" Ally answered the door with surprise.

"Hi, are you busy, I need to ask you something?"

"No, not at all, go ahead!" She said extremely quickly and then realised what she had done and blushed.

"Well, it's about Ashleigh..." Ally's smile faltered and she breathed out a sigh.

"I want to perform a romantic gesture for her, but i'm rubbish at this kind of thing, do you have ideas?"

"Yeah, come in, we can plan some ideas" She lead me into her house and I admired the beauty of it.

Me and Ally spent hours discussing what sort of romantic gestures she'd like to receive, it was so fun, I felt so relaxed around her. I began to feel some emotion toward her...I think i'm in love with her. I know you can't just develop those sort of feelings as soon as I just had, but I think I have always felt that way, but never really noticed. I was too busy distracted by Ashleigh to notice her best friend who is perfect for me. I think i'm wasting my time with Ashleigh, now for a new objective. Win the heart of Ally.

Louis' POV-

I overheard Sam and Ally together in the kitchen as I was on my way out to walk my dog Billy. I stopped to listen a bit and overheard them discussing a romantic gesture...for Ashleigh! I had to put my plan into action, before Sam beat me to it! It had to happen Saturday!

Ashleigh's POV-

I was watching Titanic for the thousandth time, I was at the part where Jack Dawson took Rose dancing in the part of the ship where the non-rich passengers socialised. I loved this part, they had fun together, the kind of fun me and Louis had, emphasis on had

"I'm gonna pop some tags, only got twenty dollars in my pocket, I- I- I'm hunting, looking for a come-up, this is-"

My phone started playing thrift shop. Coincidentally, Louis was calling me. Weird how I was just thinking about him...

"Hello" I answered with no emotion. I was still mad at him for kissing that girl.

"Hey Ash, you busy?"

"Yes as a matter of fact I am" I replied, still emotionless.

"Oh, well can I quickly ask you something?" He sounded disappointed with my answer.

"I don't know can you?" I hated how rude I sounded, but he deserved it.

"I'd like you to accompany me on a date, i'll pick you up Saturday at 8pm, i'm not taking no for an answer." I considered the thought and realised he sounded like he actually wouldn't take no for an answer so I might as well give in. I suppose it was his chance to make it up to me.

"That sounds acceptable, i'll see you Saturday at 8pm" Then I hung up. I didn't want him to know I was actually quite excited so I needed to get off the phone, it was easy for him to sense my emotions.

I carried on watching Titanic, crying occasionaly, at parts such as when Jack is tied up on the ship and Rose is searching for him, and again when Jack goes under the water. It was one of my favourite films, but also one of the saddest, the thing that really made me tearful, was the fact that it was based on a true story.

I tore my blanket off me and dropped the pillow I was tightly hugging. I sashayed over to my wardrobe and pulled open the doors in hope that an outfit would just fall into my arms. But instead, I was greeted by the same old boring wardrobe choice, and realised if i wanted to look nice on my 'date', I had to go shopping. I grabbed some cash, shoved it in my purse, and left the house.

I took the bus since I can't drive and my mum was out. I sat alone, until a lady in what appeared to be rags stumbled down the bus and placed herself down next to me. I felt quite uncomfortable, especially as now and then she would just spend five minutes staring at me, looking like she had something to say, but decided against it.

When I finally arrived at the shopping centre, I headed straight for River Island. I tried on a black silky dress which was too short and too low. I tried on a pink dress with a bow belt round the waist. I tried on a blue halter dress, and many others. But none of them were right. I found an extremely beautiful dress that I liked, but it was way out of my price range. I gave up hope and I was leaving the shop when I noticed a dress in the window on the mannequin. It was perfect, but there wern't any in the shop. I considered taking the one off the mannequin, but it was too risky. I went up to a worker and asked if she knew where any of them were, she said she'd check.

Minutes later she came back carrying the dress.

"We only have this one dress left" She informed me. I examined the dresses label and realised it was my size! Today was my lucky day. I thanked the lady and went to finish and pay. I was going to look amazing. It was a crimson patterned dress with sleeves that stopped mid-length and it came in at the waist and flowed out below that. It was a 'simple but effective' kind of dress. And I loved it.

Ally's POV-

Sam asked me out on a date! He actually asked me out! Moments ago I received a phone call form him stating that he would pick me up at 4pm on Sunday, we were going paint balling. It wasn't somewhere i'd choose to go, but it looked quite fun! I was so excited nothing else apart from the date occupied my thoughts.

~SATURDAY~

Louis' POV-

Today was the day, today would either end perfectly, with Ashleigh becoming my girlfriend, or disastrously, with the opposite. I had a plan,  and if it runs smoothly, it will be amazing.

I put on a black suit and rolled up the sleeves of my shirt and blazer. I accompanied my suit with red and white converses. I was dressed smartly, but added my own little touches to the outfit so it suited me. Excuse the pun.

When  I was ready I drove over to Ashleigh's house and knocked on her door. Her mum answered and said she'd be down in a minute. I waited in her doorway, anxious. Then I looked up at the sound of footsteps and saw Ashleigh. Wow. She looked amazing. I stood there with my mouth open gaping at her, and then she walked over to me and pushed my jaw shut.

"You don't want to swallow flies now do you" She said and winked at me, giggling.

We left her house and we made our way to destination numero uno. It was an expensive restaurant which reservations to it were extremely difficult to aquire. But I managed it, for Ashleigh. I thought it would be somewhere she had never been before and my thoughts were confirmed when she gasped in shock and stared wide eyed at the restaurant.

We were lead to a table near the window. Candles lit the table. This night would be perfect.

Ashleigh's POV-

Wow. I can't believe I am really here. I always dreamed about coming here as a kid, but when I reached my teenage years I understood that I would never afford it and gave up my hopes. I ordered a healthy salad for my starter, while Louis ordered some french dish that I can't pronounce. We conversed about all sorts, starting with with where we would go after here. But all Louis said was,

"Well that, is a secret."

The food was delicious, I never have, and never will, try food this good again. When the time for dessert arrived we ordered some chocolate icecream to share, The date was all very romantic and I was being spoiled completely, and I loved it.

When we were done eating, we walked, holding hands, back to the car. Then Louis wrapped a blindfold over my eyes in order to acheive the element of surprise at our next destination. I usally would be annoyed by having to wear a blindfold, but tonight I was in such a good mood that nothing could bring me down.

"Ash, we're here!" Louis said and somehow, I could feel him smiling.

"He lead me out of the car, still with blindfold on, assuring me he wouldn't let me walk in to anything so not to panic. Then after a short while, we stopped walking, I stood still breathing in the fresh night air, moonlight shining through the blindfold.

"Ok, i'm taking this thing off now" I said, excitement taking over me.

I ripped off the blindfold to reveal a park, but not a normal version of the park. It was decorated everywhere with fairy lights and a orchestra were seated on the grass ready to play music. Beautiful flowers surrounded us and everything looked magnificent.

"This park is where I chose to locate our date, because this is the park where I first saw you after you woke up from the coma." I remembered the exact events of that day.

"That day was the best day of my life, because you were awake, and I could then spend the rest of my life with you." He spoke lovingly.

"I love you Louis, this is perfect!" I whispered then hugged him tightly.

"I love you too, and I have another surprise for you" His hand dived into his blazer and searched around, then returned with a small, blue, box. It looked like an engagement ring box... Is he going to do what I think he's going to do? He saw the panic on my face and quickly spoke.

"Don't worry, it's not an engagement ring! Instead, it's a promise ring. My promise to you is that one day I will marry you, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, but we are too young now to marry, but as long as you wear this ring, one day we will be husband and wife."

Then he opened the box, revealing a divine silver ring with the eternity symbol on it. He bent down and delicately pushed it onto my finger. I looked down at it admirably and smiled.

"Louis, it's perfect, I want to spend the rest of my life with you too" I said then wrapped him in my arms and kissed his perfect face.

The rest of the night was spent dancing to the music played by the amazing orchestra. This was the best night of my life!

When we finally left the park we made our way back to Louis' house. He carried me to his bedroom, and there, on his bed were thousands of rose petals. Candles lined all around his room, providing the light. It was cliche, but it was perfect for me.

Then he carried me over to the bed, placed me down on it, planted a gentle kiss on my lips, then without giving away too much detail, let's just say...we had a fun night together...
