Chapter 7:Secret Conversation

9 Weeks :)

Today I'm nine weeks pregnant. Not in the process of showing. I've been living with Danny for about a week now and lets just say I'm the happiest here. I still haven't talked to my brother or I haven't talked to Kelly. I've been avoiding everyone except Danny of course.

"Hey baby." He said meeting me with a kiss. "I miss you this morning." I said happily. He been working with his father at his business. "So did you tell him?" I asked. "No not yet. I didn't get a chance to. All he talks about is my mama and how much he misses her." He said. I understand why he didn't tell him. I bet this situation is probably bothering him. I know the feeling. My mama and daddy split up three years ago. He still doesn't know I'm pregnant. I can't even call him and tell him since I'm so scared. I would prefer my mama to tell him but I didn't know if they was still talking.

"Well its okay baby." I said trying to making him feel so much better. "You know my birthday is in six weeks." I told him. "Yeah and our two year anniversary is in three weeks." He said. I can honestly say I forgot. "Yeah I know." I lied. I hated acting like I remembered stuff. "Sure you did." He said catching me in my lie. "Where's mama?" He asked. "You're asking me?" I asked. "Well you been here all day." He said making me feel bad.

I looked at my phone sitting on the bed. I had ten missed calls from kelly. Two text messages from Kelly and one from Chris.

Sorry lil sis. I was mad when Danny said you was pregnant. I wish you could've told me. I love you and congratulations on your baby.

I read his message and it made me want to cry. I missed my brother so much.

I'm sorry too. I wish I could have told you. I was to afraid. I love you too and congratulations on your baby.

I was happy to talk to him. I was no longer mad but I knew I didn't want to talk to Kelly no time soon. I haven't really talked to Megan either. Maybe she was to busy working, or getting their new home together.

"Danny baby lets watch a movie." I said. "What you want to watch?" He asked. "I don't know. Anything." I said. I just wanted to cuddle with him. I also loved spending time with him. It was only 2:30 and the sun was beaming.

"I got something better." He said jumping up from the bed. "Lets go swimming." He said. "Swimming? I can't swim." I said. "Well just get in the water then. Its really hot outside." He said. "Fine I said going in my drawer to get my bathing suit. I found my pink two pieced bathing suit and changed into it. I didn't care that Danny was still in the room. He seen me naked before. I also grabbed a pair of my white shorts and put them on. I slid my feet into my pink flip flops In the closet and I was ready to go. Danny came back with two towels tossing one at me. "Lets go." He said leading down the stairs.

The pool was crowded with people from school. "What's up Danny." Sean asked. Sean was one of Danny's friends who played basketball with him. He wanted to date me but he didn't know me and Danny was already together. I wasn't going to date him though. He was not my type. He was kinda chubby with some really bad acne. "What's up man." Danny said back dapping him up. "Hey Alexis." He said smiling. "Hey." I said back. "All eyes were on me. I was the only one who wasn't in the pool. "Hey girl." Samantha said. She was never one of my friends. She wanted to get with Danny even though she knew about us. "Hey." I said. Then I was approached by Allan. He was dripping wet. I didn't know his body looked that good. He had water going down his six pack making him stare. "Hello honey." He said waving his hands in my face. "Hey Allan." I said. Damn I wish he wasn't so gay. "Hey. I see you and Danny are still together." He said. "Yep we are." I said causing him to stare. He looked me up and down. His eyes got big. Very big. "Owee honey." He said. "What?" I said. "Danny knocked you up." He said. "What are you talking about?" I asked confused. "Your hips are wider than I remembered.

I laughed. He made me laugh. "My hips are the same size." I said making him continue to stare. "Yeah I know. I'm not going to tell anybody. See you around." He said twisting his way to the other side of the pool. I sat down putting my feet in the pool. How do he know I'm pregnant?

I looked in the pool seeing Samantha and Danny talking. Only that but they was very close. I stared into Samantha realized I was staring at them. Danny came over to me. "Having fun?" I asked disappointed. "Alex don't start. We're just talking." He said. "That's how we got together. We was just talking." I said. "Alex come on man. I'm not going to cheat on you." He said. "Whatever." I said. I could tell I was making him mad but I didn't care. I was the jealous type and I really didn't need this right now. I should've stayed at home. I didn't want to see these people until next year.

Danny went back over where he was. I got up removing my white shorts and made my way into the cold pool water. It felt good since it was so hot outside. I walked around in the three feet since I couldn't swim. It was more little kids on this end. The bigger people were in the deeper feet. I wasn't taking any chances. My friend paris came over to me. "Hey Lex." She gave me a hug. We only been out of school for two weeks and I really don't miss anybody. "Hey." I replied. "Why aren't you over there with Danny?" She asked. "I don't know."

"Yall are such a cute couple." She said. "Thank you." I said. Paris swam away leaving me all alone. I looked at the blue chlorine water and it made me sick. I got out the pool quickly and ran into the girls locker room. It wasn't that much this time making me happy. I'm happy it didn't happen while Paris was talking to me.

I walk back out the door to find Danny at the door. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah I am. I'm ready to go home." I told him. "Okay we can." He said. We walk back to his car to find his friend Destiny. Not only was she his friend. She was his ex-girlfriend. I hated this bitch so much. She try to do anything to break us up. She passed around rumors about us both that got back to us of course. We didn't fall into the trap though. We still actes the same towards each other. I rolled my eyes as we got closer to the car. "Hey Danny." She said. "Can I talk to you for a minute." She said. I stood next to him. "Alone." She said. He walks off leaving me standing alone. Destiny's hands moved as she talked. I couldn't hear what they was saying but whatever it was it made Danny mad. He walks off but Destiny grabs his arm. He comes back and enter the car.

"What was that all about?" I asked highly pissed. "Nothing she's just being Destiny." He said. Pulling out from the pool parking lot I was still eager to know what they was talking about. I already hated the fact that he was talking to his ex. I hope he wasn't dumb enough to still be messing with her while he got me. I'm his girlfriend and its up to me to please my man. Not some outsider bitch.

This shit wasn't over. If I find out he cheating on me while I'm pregnant with his child I will beat him and that hoe both. Thats on my dead Grandma Rose.

Back at the house Danny still looked upset. "What the fuck is wrong with you?"

"Nothing." He paced back and forth. "Something is wrong with you." I yelled. "No its not man. Shut the hell up." He yelled back. "You know what I really don't need this right now." I got grabbing my bag from the closet. I went in all my drawers and took all my stuff out. I grabbed my shoes and all ready to leave.

I carried my big bag downstairs. I didn't say nothing to him. I grabbed my phone to call Megan. "Hello" She said. "Hey Megan. Can you please come get me?" I asked. "Yeah I'm on my way right now. " I pressed the end button on my phone and waited for Megan. "Wait don't leave" Danny finally came downstairs. "Its too late I already called somebody to come get me." I rolled my eyes as he continued to talk. "I love you Alexis." He said grabbing my hand. "You can leave."

I heard the car horn making me get up leaving Danny on the floor. opened the door to find my brother walking towards the door. "Get me your bag." He said snatching it. "Go get in the car." He said. "Chris no. Leave him alone." I shouted. Already knew what was about to go down. "Did he hit you?" He asked angrily. "No." I yelled. My brother was so over protective. I hated it. It made him so paranoid. He couldn't trust Danny at all. "Come on Chris." I yelled grabbing my brother. I wasn't strong at all but he always listened when I told him to let stuff go. He grabbed my big duffle bag and we walked to his car.

I get in the passenger seat of the car while I wait for Chris to get in on the driver side. I heard the trunk slam letting me know he was coming. "Now lil sis are you sure that lil nigga didn't put his hands on you?" He asked. "I'm positive." I said and we pulled off.
