Chapter 1

"How do I look? Kick-ass?" I asked squarly to my cellphone. The device grow warmer within a minunte or two of operating.

"Why do you ask when you know I can't see you?" he added, "weird."

I soffed, half stepping over a mudd puddle. Thick brown liquid splashes my converse like chocolte rain, atleast it didn't stench like those filthy waste water. I take in the damage and groan, if only I can rewind the whole event. Going home and change risked a great chance, yeah, getting caught by my mother for sneaking out. Guess I have to bare it till then.

A soft muffled sound descent my ear, cross between a laugh and a choke, "You know what they says, 'What goes around comes around.'" said Melvine, jockingly, "don't get crush by a bus. Or in your case, a helicopter."

What was his problem? "See!" I exclaim, madley. I knew it, he can see me. He can really see! "And you said you can't see me, jerk. What a filfthy liar. So you have the vision, interesting."

"I can't see you, but I can see you." He explained, simply, as if that totally made sense. As if.

"Oh," I said, "Thanks for clearing that up. The same analogy as that is-I can't kick your ass, but I can kick your ass."

"No, no. Paranormally, my sight works within a radius, like, 60 miles per say. Unparanormally speaking, I can't unless you can materalized your body to my house-I am playing Halo- in whinch is stastically impossible because one can't stransport oneself to a next destination. Teleportation is inattainable."

"Says the guy who can see the future."

"Nice outfit, BTW." By this time, the moon has gone father up, and it's light deemed down an old, rich, Victorian style neighboorhood.

"Melvine, I-have-to-go." Words passed my lips in speedy murmured."I'll-call-you-back-ASAP."

"Wait, wait, what're you doing?" I already have my cellphone away from my ear.

I shrug, twiching my legs muscle, feeling the knifes beside it. "Time to kick some ass."

I hit the end button, and drop the metal to my back pockit.
