Chpt. 6 ~ Feelings?

Kate's POV~
I walked out with Blake feeling extremely confused. He led me to the car and opened the door for me. I hopped in and my body sunk down and my eyes became heavy. I wasn't sure how long it was but Blake hadn't started the car. I opened my eyes and they searched for Blake. He was staring at me, I could feel my cheeks flush. "Blake.... What is it...?" I asked really worried. He moved forward to me. " It was my fault that you practically got raped there!" He exclaimed. I put my hand to his mouth and stared at him...why did he care so much? Time stopped and he leaned in so close. His hot breath was breathable and his body warmth too. He wasn't saying anything and I had a lump in my throat. I leaned in a bit closer and soon he did too. His lips were hovering over mine. Something just pulled me towards him but then guilt washed over me as I saw Jake standing near his car looking at us. The look he gave bore into my soul. I broke the intense stare and looked at Blake.... "Let's go". He drove me home and we had a tension between us. "Blake, I had a good time" I said and smiled as I walked to the door." See you tomorrow gorgeous" he told me and then surprised me with a hug.

I layed on my bed and got out my phone.

Me:Hey Jake, home and safe!
Jake: Oh I'm sure you did after making out with Blake.
Me: We didn't kiss it's not like that!!
Jake: I saw the way you two looked at each other.
Me: Why would it matter to you anyways?! It's my decision!

I got no answer and I felt like texting him sorry for being so harsh but I really wanted to know why he cared.
