Gray's POV:

"Look at that..." With my free hand, I pointed down to the ground underneath of us. Below where are hands touched, the ice began glowing red. We both stared in awe as the supposed "never melting ice" was reduced to snowed; then mush; then was gone.

"Eeh?!" Natsu gasped, his green eyes widening drastically, "I-it's gone.. where'd it go?"

"We melted it. I don't quite understand how, but we melted it," I explained, still a bit surprised myself. Well, a lot of great inventions were made by accident.

"Okay, so this little patch of grass is fine... what do we do about the rest of the village?" Natsu questioned. He was still idly staring at the spot we melted. Finally he looked back up at me and continued. "I mean, how did it even melt."

I sighed and gestured to our hands which were still interlocked. "It's because our hands are touching."

"That doesn't make any sense."

"It know it doesn't," I pulled my hand away shoving it into my pocket, "It was just a theory."

"Alright, so how do we test it?"

"Test what?" I cocked my head to the side slightly.

"Your theory," Natsu said matter-of-factly, "Theories need to be tested."
