"Allison, calm down. You're turning psycho."
After explaining to May my dream and how I could try to find that secret room in the real book store, she thought I was insane.
Of course she would. Who would blame her.
"Wait, so why was the school burning again?"
I shrug. "All I heard was an evil cackle."
"Hmm...."
The room fills with silence.
"I have a plan." May exclaims.
I groan.
"It's a good one!" She protests.
"Alright."
"Okay, so the next time we have a sleepover we'll ask your dad to take us to that book store! The-"
"And we'll sneak in?" I ask, unamused.
"How did you know?!"
"You're predictable." I grin. "But, that's a decent plan."
"Great! Now, we have to get your Halloween costume."
"Oh no." I mumble.
"Aka a dress."
"Double no."
"Come on! The theme this year is vampire."
"And last year it was zombie." I laugh.
May spins around. "Do NOT remind of that again! That was the worst freaking party ever."
"Oh please. The theme was just zombie. That's all."
~Flashback to the Halloween Party~
I looked at myself in the mirror. A long green dress flowed down to my dark blue shoes. A dark blue jean jacket covered my shoulders and my hair was in a messy bun.
"Why did the theme HAVE to be zombie?" May moans.
Though I thought I looked decent, May thought she looked horrible. Sure, her dress was a stunning green and had an amazing red rose necklace around her neck, but that was about it. The dress was too short and looked like someone barfed.
"May, why did you take off the tag of that dress?" Harper sighed.
Harper probably looked the best out of the group. Her dress was a blood red (and people would probably claim she looked best only because she didn't wear green) and barely looked zombie like at all despite the red. The only green thing I saw was her makeup, which was an emerald green eye shadow.
"I don't why!" May sighed.
"Calm down. You realize we're only here for the dancing, right?"
Man, if only I could say I was only here for the dancing now.....
