It was quiet in the steel grey room with a mirror on one side of the room. There was nothing but a metal table and four metal chairs. Three chairs held three silent teenagers and a chair on the other side of the table sat empty.
Lisa, Nine, and Twelve all sat quietly while anticipating the questions to be asked. They were all most likely going to be thrown in prison for their actions. They weren't going to disagree though. What they had done was something that shouldn't be overlooked.
The door opened and in walked a federal officer and the man who was called Shibazki. Both looked exhausted and ready to be done with this case but of course there was still a questioning to be done.
Shibazaki sat himself in the chair while the officer stood leaning in the corner.
A sigh left Shibazaki's mouth before speaking,"I know who you three are so don't think you can get away with any fake back story. But what I would like to know is why."
Nine replied first,"Twel- I mean Hisami and I are of the age that we would be dead. If what you say is true our life expectancy is not that long because of the testing we had gone through at the facility."
Twelve continued,"We knew we would be dying soon, so we thought to do something to teach the people of the world that what they have is precious. We did not intend to kill but to teach. It was our entertainment even. We know that we would be dead soon after so it didn't matter what happened."
"Well what about this one you two. She wasn't apart of the facility so how was she ever apart of this?" Shibazaki countered.
"She was an unexpected bonus you could say in your own words. We took her in as an accomplice to do field work because she was relatively unknown and was not on a national wanted list." Nine stated coolly.
"Ms. Mishima do you know that your mother is worried?" Shibazaki directly asked Lisa.
Lisa put her head down feeling nauseated at the thought of her mother.
"I-I know that. She is always worried. She........she's been unstable since my father left and if she could she would keep me home. Never to leave. I don't want that life. I want my mother to be like she was before and not be the insane woman I feel like I have no relation to." Lisa said quietly with her head down.
Nine and Twelve stared for a moment surprised at her words. They didn't know where she came from and what her family was like but they cared for her.
Shibazaki sat for a moment before looking at the papers in his hands before stating, "You three caused an immense amount of damage you know. But no one was killed."
Then the officer in the corner spoke up with a gruff voice,"It has been decided that you three are put on six months of parole and six months of community service. You will help with the reconstruction of what you three destroyed and will still attend school. You are lucky you are minors and that Shibazaki fought for you all."
With that he left and it was just the four. Lisa felt the tension in the air before Twelve laughed.
"What a strict guy he is. If he keeps acting like that he'll die before he's 50." Twelve chuckled
"Now is not the time for jokes. Why did you stick up for us? We deserve jail a-"
"Don't ask me the questions. That's my job. By now your apartment has been cleared of anything posing a threat and I would appreciate it if I asked the questions."
Twelve thought to himself about how this was going to go. There was already so much they knew so why would questions need to be asked?
"If you're wondering if there are any questions that are needed my answer is no. I have to look like I'm working and frankly there isn't anything else I need to know. Waste of time this all is but I get payed to waste my time." Shibazaki sighed.
All three looked at each other and back at Shibazaki. Was this guy serious?
Suddenly Twelve and Nine got sharp pains in their heads. Their heads fell to the table and their eyes filled with tears of pain. Lisa tried to get to them but her hands were still chained to the table. Shibazaki checked their pulses to see if they were alive and checked them over for any external damage.
When the episode was done he pulled out two large medicine bottles put them in front of Twelve and Nine.
"We asked one of the surviving doctors to help us come up with a medication to reverse the effects you two have been having from the experiments. Take one a day and you will go to your prescribed doctor in two months to check for any improvements."
Shibazaki then unlocked their handcuffs and Lisa checked Nine and Twelve herself to see if they were okay.
Shibazaki opened the door and led them out to be discharged. He was tired and ready to go home, but reports had to be made.
Lisa and the two boys signed the papers and left the station to head for the apartment. While they were walking Twelve was making jokes and for once Nine laughed at a couple. Lisa was surprised that a person who looked so cold could laugh so lightly. She wanted to know so much more about them and she had a feeling she would. Twelve had started to impersonate Shibazaki and Lisa started to laugh. Believe it or not she was happy without any resentment towards what seemed to be a cold world.
When they had gotten home, it was 20:00 or 8:00 p.m. Nine proceeded to warm up leftovers while Twelve sat on the couch and Lisa took a bath.
When Lisa was done in the bath she realized she didn't have her pajamas and a sudden irrational fear struck her.

She would have to go out in nothing but a towel to get the change of clothes she needed.
She peaked out the door and saw no one in sight and crept towards her bag that she left here for emergencies and was almost there until Twelve ran into view calling for dinner.
Being the girl Lisa is she was spooked and tripped, crashing to the floor and somehow managed to keep her towel secure.
Twelve looked down at a fallen Lisa whom he had just noticed was wet and in nothing but a bath towel. Blood flowed into his face at an alarming rate turning it tomato red as he laughed nervously and walked back out pretending he didn't see a thing.
When Twelve walked to the table and asked what was wrong, Twelve busted out laughing and still blushing when he told Nine. All Nine did though was facepalm.
When Lisa came out with clothes on, she had her head down still blushing and apologizing fir what Twelve saw.
"You don't need to apologize, people forget things." He chuckled while smirking.
He wasn't going to lie, he liked what he saw. And he might even think he would want to see more...
