Broken Link's POV

When we walked into the restaurant, it was almost midnight. The entire place smelled like... Residual memories jumped to the surface when I got a whiff of that place.

We walked to the farthest room from the entrance,. There was a fan on a table, posters on the walls, and a door on each side, each opening into a hall leading back up front. L sat down and looked at a tablet on the table, and Andy started checking the doors.

I noticed a picture on the wall. It was me, whole, and in my human form. I had on a badge with the number one on it. There was a handwritten caption underneath: "I am Link, and I survived the first week."

Hoping for more photos, I examined the office further, and found one more. The me in the photo was in the form I was in, and had his arm around Andy's shoulders, just as Andy had his. They each had: a badge like from the first photo, a bear mask with a two on it, a cap that said 'Nightguard' and had a three on it, and a teddy bear with a four. The caption on this said, "Link and Andy reaping the rewards of of completing all four weeks. P.S. The stuffed bears'  noses squeak!" Underneath that, in the same sloppy scrawl as the first, were the words, "I am Link, and I survived twenty-eight nights!"

I felt a strange compulsion to touch the photo, and did so. I heard a voice, one I instinctively recognized as my own, saying, "This piece will help you. Use it wisely."

"How?" I asked. "I'm mute! I can't... I CAN TALK!!!!!" Link and Andy were startled... mostly by my yelling, but a bit by my sudden ability to speak.

"What happened?" L asked me.

"Long story short, I touched that picture."

He examined it for a few seconds and said, "You are a very lucky person. Because the form taken by you in the photo was the form you take now, and because you wrote on the photo that you are Link, you gave yourself an identity. That identity gives you voice."

"And just in BEHIND YOU!!!!!" I yelled as a robotic purple bunny walked. For a second, it looked like a man dressed in purple, and this set my foot tapping. There was residue... Purple guy is phone guy... I am the phone guy.

And strangely enough, I started singing. "Hello, hello. Welcome to your first night, in the place where the pizza is hot, and the fun brings light."

L and Andy joined in as L did something to the poor robot who'd wandered into our Office. "Now you saw us in the local news, what made your thought presume, this was the job for you? What'll you do? Between 12 AM and the break of dawn, the toys start to glitch, from when they power on. You got your cameras and a flashlight, what more is there to need? Just be quick, just be ready, cause they're pretty scary!"

As L finished whatever he was doing to the robot, it stood up and greeted us. "Hello, L, Andy, Link."

"Hey, Bonnie!"

"Sorry if I messed anything up in there. I didn't have proper tools for that..."

"Who... Who are you?" It was still weird, meeting someone who I'd already met.

"What's with Link? why doesn't he remember me?"

Andy explained it to him as we went down the left hall. When he finished, he asked Bonnie, "Is there a second Foxy or Golden Freddy in any of the buildings?"

"Yes, and both were here last night. The new Golden left with what looked like Link, but all black and grey, but the new Foxy is in Pirate's Cove. He forced Foxy out, saying, 'A lubber like yeh don t deserve 'is own cove. Shake a leg, or its off to the locker with yeh!' or something like that.'

'Great! We'll see you around, Bonnie!"

We stopped at a curtained-off area, with a sign saying, 'Out of order' in front. They walked up to the curtain, and I followed them through it.

There was another robot inside. This one was a fox, but had a hook over one hand, and a pad over an eye. In short, it was a pirate fox.

It didn't move, and I realized it was studying me. It pointed at my with its hook and said, "If yeh truly be part of this old salt, yeh'll be able to follow along. L hates which 'tronic in this building?"

"None. He hates the human-looking one in the second building, and it's counterparts in the third and fourth. He is also undecided about the similar one that only appears under the table in the office of the second building." I don't know how I knew it. It was just there.

"Yeh are afraid of only one robot. Which one?"

"The same ones L hates."

"*Singing* The Phone Guy tells me that there is no danger, but I suspect that things..."

"*Also singing* Will get much stranger. Something about this room is hypnotizing, paralyzing, terrifying!"

"*Speaking* Which limb will become robotic if I rejoined yeh?"

"This one." And I ripped out my right arm, and offered it.

No. Not really. I just held it out.

He took it, and when our hands touched, Link the Pirate Fox rejoined the main piece.

I noticed that along with half the memories concerning these buildings, I could also turn into any robot... animatronic... in the Foxy series.

And there he was, standing in front of me. "Thanks to you finding that piece of me, I can speak to you for this short time."

"Where am I? Who are we?"

"This is my prison, inside Herobrine's infernal machine. The guy with white eyes." He added as a look of confusion probably crossed my face. "We are a leader of the Keepers, a member of the PPG Exploration Unit, and a leader of a new group that I'm not going to mention yet. We have been through so much, and most of it is lost to you. Farewell, and good luck..."
