[Rain's POV]

"Right, so, do we have everything? Guns, ammo, water and enough food to last us a couple weeks? Okay, right, we're going out, stay put. Only use your gun if neccesary. Try to stick together. If we hurry, we can get to base camp before sundown. Remember, Zone B. If it gets to dark, we need to find a shelter to stay the night. Alright?" I declared, climbing up the rusty ladder.

The sheriff smirked at what I said, I faked being sad.

"What's funny, Officer Friendly?"

He shaked his head before saying.

"I just realised we're taking advice from a child."

I looked over at Andy so he'd back me up, he noticed me and then muttered.

"This 'child' saved your lives."

I smiled before nodding and then opening up the lid of the sewers, crawling out of it. Everyone else done the same, I jogged over onto the road. The horde moved on, finally, the only good that comes out of it. I kept walking down the road, leading everybody. I heard an engine noise, so I commanded the group to pull their guns out. A white van slowed down next to us. I heard Rick, the sheriff, yell.

"Hey, Daryl! Mind give us a ride?"

'Daryl' grunted as he glared at Andy, Vic and me but grudgingly let us in. Everyone moved inside the back of the van. There wasn't alot of space so I volunteered to get onto the roof. So, Vic boosted me up and I used some rope to tie to the front of the van. I held onto the rope as 'Daryl' started up the engine and started to drive the way we were meant to go. I grasped on the rope tightly so I don't fall off, I have a good grip so I was okay and the van was very slow so it didn't matter.

[Vic's POV]

I instructed Daryl where to drive and explained everything to him, I swapped places with the huge, ginger haired guy because I knew where we were headed. I watched the road with my brown eyes. Resting my head against the seat.

"So ye' the Black Coyotes?" Daryl asked me, he was kind of friendlier with me, I don't know why.

"Yeah..." I replied, the van slowed down now. I looked at Daryl blankly as he'd slam his hand on the wheel. "What's wrong?"

"Out of gas."

Soon, everyone was outside. I saw Rain groan and then continue walking.

"Where are you going?"

She turned her head around,  answering me sarcastically.

"To outer space, where else could I be going? Camp."

I grabbed onto her arm gently, as she tensed up at my touch but then softened again.

"Why are you being so cold all of a sudden? Do you hate us or something?"

"No... I don't. I don't hate you guys. It's getting dark and we're in the middle of nowhere. We need to get to camp soon."

"Alright, We'll be getting to camp soon. Don't worry."

She nodded as we'd continue walking, my hand over her shoulder, Andy soon joined in, doing the same. We just walked through the road, the rest of the group noticed and they also joined in. We all were walking down the road, arms flung across shoulders. We done so as the sun went down, we stopped at a gas station which was convieniently placed.

Inside we sat on the floor, most of us drinking some of the booze we found on the shelves. The rest were talking and having fun, we all sat infront of the fire. Some of us were asleep, like Carl and Judith in one corner. Glenn was resting with Maggie behind the counter and Rain was laying in Andy's arms. This is the happiest we've ever been.
