When they ran to get to the building, Britt had started to come to but she was still unconscious. She felt that something was familiar but she couldn't place it.
"Pharaoh." She said softly
Yami looked back at her seeing she wasn't awake yet, he wondered if she had a connection to ancient Egypt and if so what connection she had.
Hathor was infront of him along with Joey and Tristan, with Tea and Bre.
They arrived at the building as Tristan got a rope and something else so they could climb up the wall. They had Yami go first while he kept hold of Britt to make sure she didn't fall. Bre and Hathor went right behind followed by Joey and Tristan and Tea. They got up to the top and they all noticed Britt hadn't woke up yet.
"It must have been really intense." Joey said
In Britt's mind, she was running down a hall "Pharaoh! Pharaoh where are you?!" Britt said
Yami let everyone go ahead of them as he stayed back to put her down and put a hand on her cheek. "Britt, wake up." He said
Britt's eyes twitched a little before her eyes opened, she looked up at him. A light blush came to her face as she noticed he had ahold of her.
"Wh-What happened?" She asked
"You fainted..the shadow realm was more then you could handle this time." Yami answered
"Sh-Shadow realm?" She asked
"you'll understand." He said as he lifted her wrist showing her the bracelet. "This bracelet is your connection to the shadow power of the Shadow realm."
Britt was speechless as he helped her up to her feet, they went to catch on the others. As they arrived, she noticed he let her go and Yugi took over as they looked to see if Pegasus had done his part. They looked for a little while not finding anything until they saw that there were three blank cards.
"Look at these." Hathor said
"they're blank, so that must mean that the souls were returned." Yugi said
As they all turned and left it was all but three of them that had made it down, that's when a strange man showed up where they could see him. He had a key in his hand walking towards them.
"W-What are you doing? Stay back!" The three yelled
Suddenly though everything stopped, the three were too close so they all got sent inside Yugi's mind first. Hathor was sent into Yugi's part of his mind where she saw a bunch of toys around. She expected no less with the way Yugi always liked games. Britt on the other hand was inside the other room, she looked around til she felt a hand on her shoulder that she tensed up.
"Britt, relax." Yami said
Britt turned around looking at him. "Where am I?" She said
"you're in my room, in Yugi's mind. Weird you would be sent into this room." Yami said
She nod, it wasn't much longer the door opened and they looked at the door seeing Shadi standing there. Behind him was Hathor who walked in and she carefully ran over to the two.
"Ok, what's going on here?!" Hathor asked
"We got pulled into this because of our items." Britt answered looking at Yami.
He nod as he looked at Hathor. "Each of you carry items, for what reason is still unclear to me but I'm sure we'll figure it out." Yami said
Yami turned his attention to Shadi. "Now why are you here? I shall no harm to come to the vessel I share with the boy." Yami said
"I wish to seek the truth, a millennium item has been stolen." Shadi said
"Innocent until proven guilty, alright you can search to your hearts content." Yami said snapping his fingers.
He grabbed Britt's arm and disappeared with her before she could get ahold of her cousin.
Hathor was in shock that the two had disappeared and she saw Shadi walk away. She was gonna start looking herself when she felt someone pull her back.
"huh?" She said looking back seeing Yugi. "come on. It's better to go this way." Yugi said leading her away from danger.
Hathor followed Yugi through the weird maze, it had seemed Yugi knew his way around in a way. That she noticed they came to a room but Yugi did not open it yet.
"Some of these rooms, are dangerous." Yugi said
In one of the rooms, Yami had appeared with Britt pushing her lightly in the chair that was in the room. Britt flinched as she relaxed in the chair while looking at him. She wondered where they were and why he'd brought only her to this room.
"You're probably wondering why I brought you here?" Yami said, she nod as she looked at him.
"y-yeah." Britt said
"I'm trying to figure out you're role..but your cousin's role is unclear too." Yami answered
Yugi and Hathor were walking around still looking, as they had walked into the room they seen that inside was Yami and Britt. Looked like the two were distracted looking at each other when the two almost kissed but Hathor cleared her throat making the two part and Britt turn her back to Hathor and Yugi.
What..why was I almost about to do that? Britt thought
In a matter of minutes Shadi found the room and started walking towards the group but the floor below him started to cave in. He almost fell but Yugi helped him out.
"I just wish to find the truth." Shadi said
"I think we all do but we don't know where to look." Yugi said
Suddenly a door appeared as they looked, Britt was about to go to it but she disappeared from sight again. Hathor was about to follow too but like Britt she disappeared. The only people left were Yugi and Shadi in the room. They went through the door walking seeing tablets when suddenly one glowed showing the image of the dark magician. It was aimed ready to attack but Yugi stood infront of Shadi.
"Dark Magician, don't! You know me, he's ok." Yugi said
It didn't seem to move at first but then it stopped and went away.
Britt and Hathor looked around they were in a room, in it showed a girl who was a good duelist but also loved her home. But there was a picture in the corner that had Yami's picture in it. Hathor went over and picked it up.
"What's this?!" Hathor asked
"I-I don't know." Britt answered
'I think you do." Hathor said putting it back
Britt went towards the door as she opened it she saw there was another door on the other side but also that Yami was inbetween the two rooms. Hathor though pushed the door closed as she pointed to Britt.
"See!" Hathor said
"Don't be rude." Britt said
She opened the door again as she walked out, there was a bright light as they saw Yugi and Shadi.
"Oh great." Hathor said
Britt went to the other door as she pushed it open, they all walked in behind her. Britt and Hathor felt they were in a room for a Egyptian Queen.
