nicki's pov

I was already having a bad day today and it had to top off with my teacher yelling at me.
I didn't really want to upset her so I went and did the task.
I didn't know it was this hard to make copys .
I couldn't take it anymore.I just let everything I had inside go. My regrets, my feelings, everything.

I felt a realse on my heart and cleaned myself up.and headed back to class.

I saw how everyone was looking at me .did they hear me in the copy room? Can they see my eyes or something?.

Shayla-is everything alright?
Me-I'm fine Mrs , here's your papers.

I didn't feel like talking to her today.I just wasn't in the mood for it.
I sat at my desk and began writing notes.I could feel the stares at me but I dared not to look.

Genie-nicki what happened?
Me-oh nothing just bumped my toe on a corner.
Genie-well that always does it for me too.
We laughes alittle more then did are work Mrs Williams handed out.

I had a note on my paper that said.

nicki can you stay after class please.

I knew she was going to do this again.

When the bell rang. Tried to leave the classroom with ease but she caught me.
She slightly pulled me over to the side and closed the door.

I could feel my heart rate rising.I was feeling uncomfortable ,Or neverous with her close to me. Her body was really close to mine and I was in a daze.

Shayla-nicki
Me-yes

I was distracting myself from her gaze.she wanted my attention , but she already had it. Just not all of it.

Shayla-so are you going to tell me what's wrong?
Me-I have to get to class ms Williams .
Shayla-what's the problem , you seem so distant , and in class. So I need to know what's going on.

She was persistent with this.i had no way out. I had to plead.

Me-its nothing.
Shayla-oh really ,so why were you crying earlier.
Me-I... I wasn't crying.

She walked back up to me .why did she feel the need to be close to me.

I moved away from her and sat in a chair.
Shayla-really .nicki, hey you don't have to tell me anything if you don't want to .I'm just concerned.
Me-your not concerned , your wondering if you made me cry.if your wondering ,you didn't.

Shayla-then what is it? I'm trying to help you.
Me-ms Williams , your my teacher and I really can't trust you with my problems.

I could tell she was a little taken back by that. She swallowed hard before talking.I think she wanted to curse me out at this point.
I began to walk to the door.just then she walked up to me and took me by my hand and caressed it lightly.I could feel the electric shocks shoot through my body.
I turned around to her and saw tears in her eyes.
Shayla-nicki from this point on if you tell me something personal it stays between us.anything we stays between us.okay.
Me-yes.

What got me was that she was teary eyed.is there something I need to know.

We hugged and I could feel her heart beat going faster and faster.
Was she nervous or scared.because her heart was going to explode if she didn't calm down.
