Shoutout to @Infin1ty_y. Sorry I couldn't get the link, it won't work for some reason. She made the picture at the top. Sorry if the updates are a little late. I am up at 6 in the morning getting ready to go to Wisconsin Dells with my family. This might be the only update for about 4-5 days. I promise the book will be updated around those days.On with the chapter!
"The girl?" Someone asked.
"And her friends. I've waited a long time for this. I'm not having any mistakes now. Find them, capture them, and bring them to me." A woman demanded.
"It's time my daughter and I properly meet."

Christmas Break had started and Kailee had gotten dressed and ready to go.
She pounded down the steps at a fast pace, expecting a bustling crowd of commotion at the bottom, but no one was there.
Kailee became confused when she realized Miss Mona wasn't there, either.
Kailee heard footsteps and turned around, backpack on her shoulder, to see Carrie, a younger girl about six or seven.
Carrie rubbed her eyes with her small hands balled into fists and yawned. "What are you doing up, Kailee?" She asked. "And why do you have your backpack on?"
"We have school! Did nobody set their alarm?" Kailee asked.
"What? Kailee, there's no school for two weeks." Carrie told her.
"Really?! Why?" Kailee wondered why school would be out for so long for no reason.
"Certain holidays are celebrated by getting the day off or a few weeks. When Christmas comes around, we get two weeks off. When Spring comes around we get a week. People call it Spring Break and Winter Break. We also get the Summer Break." Carries explained.
"Oh. Nobody explained this to me." Kailee blushed.
"You still should have known." Carrie said, not in a rude way.
"Just another mystery about me!" Kailee muttered. "So I could've slept in?"
"Yeah." Carrie replied shortly.
Kailee's groan echoed through the whole house.

Kailee, Tray, Henry, and Will were in their winter gear while Demon happily wagged his tail, as his fur kept him warm. They all sat out by Henry's house near his shed."So, you're telling us you didn't know about this?" Will asked.
"Yes! That's what I said." Kailee threw her hands in the air, frustrated.
"How could you not?" Henry asked.
"Need I remind you, that I pretty much grew up on the streets, and I always killed my family before they could even enroll me in school." Kailee glared. Demon slowly curled around Kailee, ready to defend her.
"Sorry, Sorry. Didn't mean to bring that up." Henry surrendered.
"Whatever." Tray swatted down Henry's hands. "It's snowing and I want to go sledding. Who's up?"
"Me!" Henry and Will cried in sync.
Kailee looked perplexed. "What's sledding?" Demon also seemed confused and he didn't need to spread his emotions for someone to know that.
"And this is why you need to get out more." Tray sighed.
"You don't know what sledding is?!" Henry cried, almost in despair.
"We shall teach them!" Will cried. "Grab your sleds, men! Operation Teach Kailee And Demon Sledding aka T.K.D.S is a go!"
Kailee and Demon's eyes went wide when all of them made their voices deep and just yelled for no reason. "AHHHHH!" The boys cried and ran to grab their sleds from Henry's shed.
Kailee scrambled up to get away, Demon following, before they came back, but even being demons, neither got up fast enough. They were back, still yelling full force, and what both assumed were 'sleds' under their arms.
What really surprised Kailee was when she noticed Will carrying two sleds while Tray had nothing in his arms.
She realized why when he ran toward her, yelling like a maniac, and scooping her up, bridal style.
Demon yelped, surprised too, before he smiled and barked along with them.
"What the hell, Tray?! Put me down!" Kailee cried, before noticing Demon was playing along. "Traitor!"
"Nope!" Tray laughed before going back to yelling.
They all took off toward the park, Kailee bouncing up and down in Tray's arms.
Eventually, Kailee couldn't pretend to be annoyed anymore and started yelling along with the boys and her barking dog, as people stared at them as they ran.
It was pretty funny, she supposed. A group of boys and a dog, two running down the road yelling with their hands in the air and sleds gripped in them, the other had a girl in his arms, and the boy and the girl were also yelling, the girl's hands in the air, and a dog barking and running beside them. They all probably sounded like rampaging Vikings.
Once they made it to the park, Tray tossed her into a snow drift.
Kids in the park had watched the group come in, hearing all the yelling from the other side.
Kailee was still yelling and her hands were still up as she flew through the air and descended into the snow, her form disappearing from sight as she sunk into the drift.
Kailee continued her yelling, but it was muffled, making the boys laugh. Demon snickered silently.
Demon dug her out of the snow drift and they saw Kailee, still yelling and her arms still over her head, with the most serious look on her face.
The boys burst into a fit of laughter, Demon, too, as best as he could, and Kailee followed.

"Okay, sit on the sled." Tray gestured to the red and blue plastic contraption.
Kailee and Demon obliged, plopping onto it. Henry held the back of the sled to make sure it didn't shift.
"Now, grab the ropes." Will gestured to the rope handled on the sides.
Kailee gripped them, and she held Demon by his collar to make sure he was secure. "Now what?"
"This!" Henry shouted and pushed them down the high, steep hill.
Kailee screamed, scared. Demon yelped loudly. The snow hit their faces and both's scared screams and yelps turned to joyful ones.
Atop the hill, Tray, Henry, and Will smiled and laughed.
They watched as Kailee and Demon hit the bottom and the sled flipped, sending them face first into the ground.
They panicked and sped down after the demons.

"Kailee? Demon? Are you okay?" Will asked, picking up the sled hurriedly off their bodies.
"Kay?" Tray asked.
"Are you guys hurt?!" Henry screamed.
Kailee slowly sat up and faced the boys, wiping snow off of her face. Demon shook the snow off his fur.
"That. Was. The..." Kailee started.
The boys grimaced, ready for her to yell at them.
"Awesomest Thing Ever!" She finished, laughing. Demon barked happily next to her, jumping around.
The boys breathed a sigh of relief and smiled, laughing along with them.
Hope this satisfies you guys for now! Bye my doggies!
