Right. So that was awesome.  I guess she couldn't call?  Maybe she was crazy... that would explain the adoption, but if it was true... I got to go be a Jedi!!! AND I got to save the world.  Hmmmmmm.... to believe or not to believe.  Maybe it was just a lie, but I was just to much of a fangirl to not believe.   To the letter i said,

"Well, what are you waiting for?  Show me to Apollo... Uncle Apollo."

At first it didn't do anything... not surprisingly.  I turned away to examine a small cut on my finger, and I heard a low humming sound.  Turning around as it beacame higher pitched, i saw the papeer reforming itself.  it settled onto the table, and i saw it was a map.  with a pulsing sun.   That said Apollo on it.  It was down the street.

"Okaaaay then, Mr. magic paper.  I guess we'll go see Apollo."

Taking the paper and slipping on shoes, I walked to the door and slipped outside, being met by crisp autumn air.  Looking down the street at the house that said Apollo on the map, I realized that it was Mr. Sanglefields house.  A greek man who made delicous shortbread, he was my favorite neighbor.  Parked in his driveway was a red Mitsubishi Evo.  Wait, that wasn't right! Mr. Sanglefields owned a Buick Lacrosse...

I ran down the street, my tan jacket blowing back with my braid.  Reaching his house, I rang the doorbell.  A young man... Only a year or two older then me, I realized... answered the door.  He had blonde hair, blue eyes, and a smile that was whiter than snow.

"Hello, is Mr. Sanglefields home?" I asked.

"He is, umm..."

"Elodie."  said a voice I recognized.  "Come in dear."

I walked inside and sat down on the couch.

"Mr.Sanglefields?" I asked when the young man left to get lemonade.

"I suppose you want to know about that man."

"Actually yes," I said flourishing my map, "This says Apollo is here."

"He is."  said the young man, coming into the room.

Suddenly the peices clicked together.

"Lord Apollo!" I said, "I um..."

"Know.  Come with me."

He took me outside and sat me in the passengers seat of his Evo.  Suddenly we were flying very high up.  Switching on the radio, I heard the opening bars of "In Dreams" from Lord of the Rings.  I began to hum it.

"Sing."  It was a request, not an order, but I accepted it."

"When the cold of winter comes, starless night will cover day.  In the veiling of the sun, we will walk in bitter rain.  But in dreams, I can hear your name, and in dreams, we will meet again.  When the sea and mountains fall, and we come to end of days. In the dark I hear a call. Calling me there, I will go there, and back again."
