Chapter 1

               

7 years later age: 12 (Suki's POV)

It's just another beautiful day in the hidden village in the sand;NOT! It's waaayy to dry here and I'm always thirsty, but it's my home and I love it, well actually let me rephrase that the only emotional attachment I have is with Daisuke Yuki.

He's pretty much like a father but he could never replace my real father and he knows that and respects it. I don't have any friends or acquaintances I prefer not to have people drag me down with them or worry about betrayal.

To most people I'm as cold as ice and scarier than a tailed beast. But in reality I'm just a confused and scared little girl. No one will ever see that side of me or any emotions to be exact, I am making sure that no one will talk or try to be friends, so if you ever meet me don't feel hurt if I ignore you and glare.

On the inside I'm full of emotion and have feelings but on the outside I have a blank look that seems to be glued to my face and a boring monotone voice.

"Suki! Are you home yet?" I hear Daisuke call from the front door.

"Yeah. I'm back here." I reply in my normal blank tone.

Daisuke walks into the living room and smiles very warmly as a greeting. It's hard every day for me not to return the smile, his smile could brighten up the world like the sun does. And before you start thinking that I have a crush on him he's 34 and I've never thought of him like that in the 7 years I've lived with him.

"Here you are! The Kazekage wishes to speak with ya'!"

I nod my head in understanding and stand up to go to the kazekage tower.

~Time skip to the kazekage's office~

I knocked on the door and heard a muffled 'come in' and walked into the office.

"Hello miss Yuniku, how are you?" the old geezer asked.

"Hello Kazekage-sama I'm ok." I replied in monotone.

Kazekage shook his head and chuckled, "As cold as ever I see."

I just nodded my head in response he sighed then turned serious, "I'm just going to cut to the chase and rip the band-aid off, Suki Yuniku, you are to live in Konoha also known as the village hidden in the leaves and grow as a shinobi their, and before you protest your mother and father's wills both stated when you reach the age of 12 you are to live in Konoha and grow up to be a great shinobi, you are leaving today and Daisuke will be your escort I suggest you leave now and pack your belongings."

He then shooed me away and out of his office. I wasn't sure what to think so I just walked home with a blank mind.

As soon as I walked into the house Daisuke was waiting for me with my belongings in suitcases.

"Hey kiddo, I packed your stuff, and I'm going to escort ya' alright?"

I just looked at him with a blank face and answered with a nod. I wonder what Konoha is like? Is it bad that I'm excited to leave this place?

I kept asking those answers the whole way their until we had reached the Hockage tower. "Are ya' ready kiddo?" Daisuke asked nervously.

I nodded and we continued to the Hockage's office. Daisuke knocked on the door and a soft 'come in' was heard.

As soon as we entered the Hockage looked up from his paper-work and his eyes widened, "Who might you be young lady?" He completely ignored Daisuke, is there something wrong with my face?

"I'm Suki Yuniku sir." I answered in a bored tone.

Realization hit the old geezer and he laughed, "Has it really been 7 years already? Wow I really am getting old!"

"Well I already have a home set up so I'll have one of my men escort you."

What is it with the Kage's and cutting right to the chase? Do they not like to talk? I nodded and followed the 'escort' guy that had on a mask, I'm guessing he's an ANBU.

Daisuke had disappeared at some point without me noticing and left me. When we had arrived at my new home yet again, I was surprised, it was fair sized and was a little secluded for some privacy. As soon as we got to the door the ANBU handed me my key and told me I was to start at the academy tomorrow and pointed at the academy itself, then he poofed away.

What is it with all the freaking small talk and secrecy? It's weird people from the sand village never shut up!

~The next day~

I woke up to my alarm and got ready lazily and walked to school. I was 2 minutes late though kinda got lost.

I knocked on the classroom door and heard it go quiet when the 'sensei' walked over and opened it, "Yes? Oh! Suki Yuniku! Just wait here and I'll call you in." I nodded and he went back into the classroom, "Ok class, today we have a new student joining the academy, please welcome her warmly and with respect, come in now."

I came in and a few people gasped, what is it with these Konoha people and gasping? I walked to the front and stood next to the sensei, "I'm Iruka sensei, please introduce yourself to the class."

I nodded and looked at the my new 'classmates' and sighed, "I'm Suki Yuniku." I answered montonously and that earned me a few gasps, Iruka sensei sweat dropped and said, "Why don't you tell us a little more about you like your parents, and where your from and such."

I sighed yet again and nodded, "I'm the only Yuniku clan member left because my clan was slaughtered my parents are dead, their names are Lily Yuniku and Madara Uchiha-"

"What?!"

I 'tsked' and looked at the person who interrupted me, my eyes widened the boy looked just like me, he had raven hair that looked like a duck's butt and dark grey eyes, with pale skin. "You got a problem?"

The ravenette answered frantically, "You're an Uchiha?"

I rolled my eyes, shouldn't he be dwelling on the fact that both my clans were slaughtered and that I'm also Yuniku? "Yes, and what of it?"

The ravenette was silent then softly answered, "I'm Sasuke Uchiha."

My eyes widened and my jaw dropped, it was eerily silent. I froze in place, an Uchiha? I thought I was the only one left from both clans! Wait, he has to be joking, he's lying. I glared. "There's no way all the Uchiha's are dead."

Then Iruka sensei decided to cut in, "Actually Suki, Sasuke is an Uchiha. Uh hehe." He answered scratching the back of his neck.

My eyes snapped back to Uchiha who was now standing frozen in place. I didn't know what to do! What do you do when you meet a supposedly dead relative? Sasuke broke my thoughts and ran over to me and stared me straight in the eyes, I stared back, he then did something surprising; he hugged me.
