" Dad! Please come back, please!" Faith choked out of a cry. " I promise I will be better. Don't leave me!" She couldn't stop, her heart was too restless. " Faith, please calm down, it will be ok." Cole said worried. She finally stopped crying but didn't stop worrying. " I cant lose him, he is all the family I have left." She said cleaning off her tears.
" I promise, he will be okay, please relax." John said concerned. She would be scared no matter what they said. The hour of her birth struck, the storm also stopped. Her friends looked at her like the cause of the storm was from when her birthday started. After they were done cleaning up, they climbed out of the cellar.
As soon as they went inside the house, they went to look for Faith's father. Faith started to panic at everything. Cole sat her down to talk to her. " I promise you, we will find him. Okay?" He said. " Yeah, I'm just scared to lose him and you and..." He cut her off to say "Faith, we will not leave you. Don't worry so much." There was a moment of fearsome silence.
They heard John say he found something. It wasn't in a good tone either. Cole held out his hand to help Faith up off of the couch. She was nothing but nervous, her whole body was shaking, she was also sweating and getting cold chills. Each step she took towards where John was startled her with worry.
